DrPhil
Currently I can still only access the phone via chrome browser on PC. Accessing properly via android phone is not possible. If I follow email notifications I can jump into a particular thread and reply, but accessing the forums and browsing is pretty impossible. Even using a chrome browser on my phone isn't worth the hassle. Are there any plans to have a proper dedicated iPhone and Android app for the FC? Kinda nuts that an organisation as big as the UFC don't have an app for their official fan club.
Enigma_Machine
An app would work well, but remember the forum is still being worked on. Also, everything seems no worse on iPhone then on pc for me? I am using safari on the phone.
bigdw35/Ufcfan_1
Pretty odd as I am using an android phone, and I have no issues with the site at all, not sure whats wrong Phil. As for an App. That is in the process as well...
DrPhil
Yeah I know the forum is still evolving, and I have to admit that it's slowly starting to resemble a decent site after the first few days of mayhem. But long term an app should be considered. The old FC forums never had an app so I hope it isn't the case for the new system too. I'm on an Android phone, Samsung Galaxy S3. It's usable on Chrome or the stock internet app but on a Dolphin browser (which I normally use) it's crap. I can cope with using Chrome in the meantime, but a proper app would be nice. DrPhil
Yeah standard one is just called Internet. I downloaded the Dolphin browser, much more user friendly IMO.

DrPhil
Gottcha.. Well since you have problems with the FC on that browser I wont use that one...lol But if the app is coming soon then you're sorted. So you can experience the joys of a non-stock browser! I've changed most of the default apps on my phone, there is so much choice and quality. That's what I prefer about Android to iPhone.
DrPhil
Lol, there's something really bizarre about things being done around here... So used to the desolation of the old site. The site now works pretty well on my phone, even on the Dolphin browser. Well done Sparkart, we're getting there...

All that has improved and is improving is the website which lets face it, nobody had any real problem with in the first place. But... If the team here address the real problems as enthusiastically as they did the website merge then we're in safe hands. But there is a very long way to go before they win back the long term faithful who have sat here through the hard times. I've been speaking to a few people via FCUFF and Facebook and regardless of the website being sorted out, it's the cold hard facts and value for money that will bring people back. I agree with you 100%. I think with time we will see these issues being addressed. Until then I hope some can give Leonie the benefit of the doubt.
