Yo! Just saw this new section in and I wanted to be the first one to post a topic here. Just took your virginity son! Alright. So I'm guessing all of you guys have heard about the contract disputes regarding Eddie Alvarez and he is not appreciating how Bellator is treating him. If none of you have seen the video of his interview with Ariel Helwani I suggest you guys do now.

What do you guys think? How stupid is this situation? Is the only one who loses this fight is actually Eddie himself? Thoughts and opinions. GO!

Well i don't really KNOW all the inside stuff with his contract and lawyers but i do know this.....

Dana made sure to insult VIACOM and never once eluded to ANYTHING about the legal or contract.IMO it should be plain as day,he has a contract and that is it.Dana again avoiding the REAL topic, went on to talk about judges not understanding PPV and television,i guess what he really means is the corrupt side of the sport. It does NOT matter,Alvarez has a contract,it doesn't matter if Dana gets all huffy,it doesn't matter if Bellator wants to play hardball.Dana made it sound like Alvarez is getting screwed by Viacom, when the truth is Alvarez or his agent signed his contract, the JUDGE knows the law and it is as easy as that.

If the UFC or Dana was so sworried about what is best for Eddie,he should have signed him years ago.

Alvarez was 9-0 when he beat Aaron Riley, whom the UFC signed. So either one of two things, the UFC wanted to pay him like they do all the other low paid guys,5-10k and Alvarez was offered more by Bellator.OR the UFC figured he wasn't that good,so then why is Dana all concerned about how much he makes?
