Jbrahams
So a couple of months ago I noticed whenever I got to play a video on youtube (and sometimes when I click play after having it paused for a while) it freezes my computer and takes from 10 - 15 seconds to start or resume the video which is really annoying me nowadays. I have the Adobe Flash Player 11 and also use McAfee Security Scan Plus and ESET Smart Security on my laptop. I have an i7 Processor and 8GB of RAM (not sure what info is relevant as I'm no means a computer whizz). Does anyone know why this may be? Programs? I paid extra money to get fast processors and not have problems like these and now that it's happening it's annoying. Any help would be appreciated

PRIDEneverDIED
could be a number of different things....i would start by emptying your cache asone of the the simplest possible fixes...another simple fix would be to adjust the quality on the video(i know thats not the desired fix but it would prolly work if you dont mind less video quality)

Okay so my Ping was 35ms, by downloads 6.96mbps, and my upload 0.55mbps not too sure what this means to be honest haha, and yes I've been using Firefox, is that usually experienced or know to have been experienced? Edit: Yeah the computer freezes, internet explorer it's the same, Google Chrome isn't really problematic, but, I can't get sound on it....just another problem lol

TigerChamp
you can always pause the video and come back to it after it buffers all the way . if its still freezing up when you go full screen and pause, then its definately not an internet issue. its a software or hardware issue haha im screwing around with speedtest servers and i get just as good results to anchorage alaska. damn i used to think my internet was rather slow.,

Damn, that's impressive, I always thought i had fast internet lol
