britishranger
So who had the best debut in the history of the UFC Personally I go for Anderson Silva when he destroyed Chris Leben, but an honourable mention goes to Griffen and Bonnar for their war in the TUF finale
Junglebird
JDS WTFKOing Werdum was legit too. Especially since Werdum is still a top HW to this day

Sisti
Hmmm silva vs. leben definitely comes to mind as number 1. I'd say JDS vs. Werdum is a close second. Also, I remember being very impressed with lil nog's UFC debut...he totally smashed Luiz Cane who was legit at that time. Few others... glover texeira submitting kingsbury duffee with his 7 second KO (even though he didn't end up being that good) tank abbott at one of the first UFC's ever had one of the coolest and most amazing KO's I ever remember in a UFC fight
J_o_R
I say JDS tops Anderson because it was totally unexpected. I haven't talked to many people that knew of him when he debuted. I mean Anderson tooled Leben but we all knew what he was capable of from PRIDE and Cage Rage. JDS was a complete unknown and he was the first and only man to ever stop Werdum so far. TheMmaKnowItAll
Overeem!!! Came in with huge hype and dispatched the former champion lesnar in half a round. Also even though he lost, lesnar had an impressive debut I thought, considering most ppl thought he couldn't even win a fight in ufc without any former experience in the cage. Pretty sure bj penn was a beast coming into ufc aswell although eventually falling short against pulver for the title.
