So who is UFC's biggest draw right now?

Brock was by far the biggest draw, and he's been out for a while

GSP was definitely number 2, and he vacated his belt, and is out indefinitely

Silva was number 3, but he's out for quite some time and is pushing 40 with b2b losses

So right now, who would you say is UFC's biggest draw?

Personally, the only fight that truly interests me is Vitor/Weidman so from that point, I'd have to say one of them is the biggest draw. I'd go with Vitor

Lol Make Weidman fight Munoz again and we'll see how big of a draw he is

He already utterly destroyed Munoz once. Why does Weidman have to beat people multiple times to be accepted as a champ? lol

He is just so unimpressive.

LoL Your trolling on Weidman is pathetic.

There is nothing unimpressive about his wins in the UFC.

I came off a little brash. I had a rough weekend and missed work yesterday, my wife had to have emergency surgery.

What do you think is unimpressive?

Some fighters are impressive some aren't.

Randy Couture was an unimpressive fighter who did pretty good.

Seems like you just dislike him and are ignoring his ability.

Couture's style doesn't even compare to Weidman's.

Not comparing their styles - just their unimpressiveness..

I would have to disagree that brutal finishes are unimpressive.

I prefer my brutality with style.

Weidman is not unimpressive...the Munoz win was so impressive, he got a title shot

The 2 Silva wins were unorthodox, but the first win was possibly the greatest moment in the history of the sport

You could say that Weidman still is not in the category of Jones/Silva/GSP in terms of proving himself irrefutably, but you can't say his wins are unimpressive

" the first win was possibly the greatest moment in the history of the sport"

I would place it Top Ten in most embarrassing moments in history of sport.

Embarrassing for Silva. His clowning antics did not pay off in that fight. You can't say Weidman is unimpressive because he took advantage of what Silva was doing in the fight.

He missed him about 7 times before he hit him.

Weidman was unimpressive.

Who said anything about being accepted as a champ? Defensive much, Polo?

Yeah, sorry about that.

See my post above, had a rough weekend.

Yes the strikes he missed completely take away the fact that he did land, and got a KO win.

If you miss any strikes in a fight, that makes you unimpressive.

My opinion, in no order:

Jones

Cain

Ronda

Weidman

Belfort and Dos Santos in Brazil

Sonnen

Silva x 2- Anderson and Wanderlei

Diaz Bros.

Pettis

Bisping and Gustafsson in Europe

Cung Le in Asia

The list is getting too long. I can't tell you what the biggest draw is for other people. who would I, personally, pay the most money to see? Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey. That's easy.

Those misses were intentional to set up the sequence. They didn't look flashy, but they did their job.

I'm honestly not excited about ufc any more...I feel like I'm gonna take my first break in interest in 5 years...there's no way I'm paying for rousey/mcmann and I'm really not interested until I see aldo/pettis or Weidman/Belfort and those fights are way in the distance

So now that the UFC is almost entirely free of marquee fighters, your going to stop watching. What kind of MMA fan are you?

I'm just not as obsessed with it as I used to be...management being greedy and starting fights with everyone plus there being a monopoly and oversaturation is making the sport not as exciting as it used to be.

You are the fan that Dana White wants. You act like you owe something to some sport that you have absolutely no stake in and you're just helping a few guys get rich. If they spread out some of their wealth a little more I'd feel better about helping the fighters and their families, but between a lack of very interesting fighters (silva, GSP, Fedor, Brock are all out indefinitely) and the company's greed, I don't see the need to say I'm a bad MMA fan because I'm not going to shell out hundreds of dollars in the next few months

I don't think anyone is a huge draw anymore I think what is gonna make the money is them setting up big fights. Pettis/Aldo Weidman/Vitor Jones/Gus 2 Machida/winner of Weidman/vitor Cain/Jones I just don't see 1 person selling out cards anymore Jones is very unlikable same with Rousey that will hurt there sales but they are currently leading. I see a lot of stacked cards in the future to try and make of for that 1 name star power they relied on with GSP and Silva.
