Question re: Sports betting in the US and mobile apps...

So most of y'all know I'm in the US at the moment, currently in Vegas and heading to NYC tomorrow (finally! Hate this city!) ..

anyway I've got a mobile app from Oz called sportingbet I use to place bets. It's based from an Aussie website and gives good odds. when I was in Thailand the app was blocked but it worked fine in LA with an AT&T sim... Now it seems like it will work in NY as well.

my question is, is this ****ing illegal? Have I found a glitch in the matrix? Are five oh gonna kick my door in?

Don't like Vegas?

not a fan bro. Mainly due to being here with my GF and not having stacked funds to throw around the place, and being pretty pissed at the 'hotel' the casino provides and it's ****ty service. I'm sure it would be cool on a boys trip

Just gamble dude. You get free drinks and if you get lucky you win money. I got paid to go on my last Vegas trip. Came out ahead for my first time. Crazy to make money drinking a **** load and eating crazy badass foods for three days straight.

Its definitely not going to be illegal in Vegas, but regardless, might as well have just went to the casinos sports book and placed a bet.

I hope you bet on Cruickshank and Brown and made fat stacks for the rest of your trip, the line on those guys was retarded.
