Jamie Varner - WTF was that?

They may have thought it was just a sprain .
I doubt people who are specialists in working with athletes would be so clueless.

The bottom line is that whatever you'd thought it was, the way he was twisting his ankle with every step could break his ankle or knee in the worst possible way adding to the original injury.

You people are cans.

You say his corner should've thrown in the towel, but he kept right on fighting. Condit, Anderson, plenty of other people have had severe leg injuries and just waved off the fight. I've broken ankles before, that **** isn't fun. If anything, I give Varner credit for trying to fight through it.

And your point is?

Throw or not to throw? Huh?

Corners do make that decision. Wake up.

Obviously Varner wanted to continue as long as a could. It's his decision.

Why is nobody calling him the stubborn idiot but his corner gets blamed for not interfering in his dumb decision.

First of all, I've had a severely broken ankle and played through it in a basketball game. I sawed that cast off my foot after five days because it was the clunkiest thing ever among other reasons.

Varner was just standing there swinging. He wasn't going to die. You people need to relax.

Wow, are you really that dumb to not see the difference?

No it's not a black or white issue. They didn't know his ankle was broken.

His corner knew something was up but he was fighting through it. Varner could have tapped at anytime or looked at his corner and asked them to call it for him.

They are loyal ( which is something you are too dumb to understand ) and they are not just gonna throw the towel in when he's trying to fight through it.
