Bezerker101
I'm somewhat bemused at this matchmaking attempt, is this a barometer to see if Alex can hang w/ the Cal-Kid ? Is it an early Christmas gift for a loyal ambassador ? Could it be Dana knows something we don't ? It is without a doubt one of the most unusual match-ups I've seen and I was hoping someone could put forth a reasonable theory ?

There really wasn't another option, I'm assuming Faber wants to continue to fight and receive a paycheck. 1 Renan Barao- Beat Faber twice, kinda. 2 Urijah Faber 3 Raphael Assuncao- Injured and has been finished by Faber. 4 Michael McDonald- Finished by Faber 5 Eddie Wineland- Lost to Faber. 6 Takeya Mizugaki- Finished by Faber 7 Iuri Alcantara- Lost to Faber. 8 Johnny Eduardo- I'd actually like to see this guy fight Faber after KOing Wineland. 9 Bryan Caraway- Just fought. 10 Francisco Rivera- Recently lost to Mizugaki, who Faber has a win over. 11 Dominick Cruz- Doesn't fight anymore. 12 Alex Caceres- And here we have Alex. I'm concerned with the difference in physical strength, particularly upper body strength, Urijah could probably bench 100lbs more the AC and its difficult to think of an equalizer for Caceres ... Faber might have the edge in speed also and Alex is not a big puncher so I don't see UF going to sleep ... could be a rough night for the southpaw -
