Thanks for the memories BJ. You did good for a pudgy little Hawaiian guy. Still say BJ would have beaten the crap out of Brock Lesnar.

Shark_Etiquette
He should've quit when Joe asked him if he was retiring after the Diaz barrage. Sucks but good for him. He got nothing to prove. At one point he was considered the best lightweight & was champ in 2 divisions. Was down for war & gave us some pretty good highlights. Hope he enjoys the rest & sticks around the mma community. NetshadeX
He's just from a different era. Guys like BJ were dominant against the Joe Stevensons of this world. He accomplished great things but he's just not relevant anymore. That's just time doing it's thing. Ah well he picked up a good paycheck I'm sure. Nothing new about that. Herschel Walker. Randy Couture. Dan Henderson. Mark Hunt. It's not his age, bro. It's brain damage & lack of motivation. Pretty sure he lost his competitive drive. zaksame
ummm wait....how many times has he retired? He goes back home, everyone pats him on the back and tells him how great he is,then he begins to believe it and thinks he is a fighter again. I remember the excuses of him fighting bigger guys, then that was tossed out the window when made to look bad by Frankie.Must be tough for Penn to finally realize he has always been over rated. He should have stuck to fighting bigger guys,it gave him a good excuse.
