cashfl0w
BJ's time ended like 10 years ago. Fact: Besides Diego Sanchez, you have to go back OVER 10 years to find the last win of BJ's against a person who is not currently retired.

He's never actually beaten anyone into retirement. He just picks on washed up fighters. Matt Hughes = lost to Koscheck after BJ Duane Ludwig = had a billion fights after BJ Rodrigo Gracie = three fights after BJ Renzo Gracie = four fights after BJ Jens Pulver = a million fights after BJ Joe Stevenson = piled on some losses after BJ Sean Sherk = three fights after BJ Kenny Florian = retired by Aldo, five fights after BJ Deigo Canchez = only fighter still fighting that BJ has beaten since Oct. 2003

I stand corrected. However, that doesn't contradict that BJ was awesome in his day...his day was just admittedly quite a long time ago. UFC needs characters like BJ though. Hope we see more of his ilk.
cashfl0w
Exactly. I'm not trying to be a troll. I just want to be realistic. As long as we can meet on common ground using facts, I can agree with you. He was the most exciting fighter of his time. That's undisputed. In present day, there might be two or three people that truly bring it like he did back in the day. So I do respect him for that.
