I destroyed @VertFTW over his TERRIBLE Jeremy Corbyn takes almost as badly as he destroyed @crangs over De Gea.

No chance he throws shade at my movie choices.

^^This.

Although admittedly i like it more than some of the films in my top 5.

To clarify, most of you beta neckbeards probably have spreadsheets with marks out of 10 in 7 categories, including character arcs and cinematography.  My top 5 is more of a shoot from the hip not particularly accurately or thoughtfully.

Carlito's way should probably be in there somewhere now I think about it.

Can you explain your fandom of Braveheart. If the entirety of Forrest Gump was the Vietnam scene where Americans were getting bodied in a war they shouldn't be in, it probably wouldnt be top 15 on my top 5 list.

Lol, it's not exactly a documentary.

It was kind of ahead of it's time; took large scale action to another level.  Despite accidentally watching it from the front row and developing a neck injury, it was mind blowing.

Had Gladiator come out first, that would probably have been above it on my top 5.

I like this, if I was left with hours or days to mull it over would probably be very different but off the top of my head

Catch Me If You Can - When I thought of favourite films this came to mind first

Braveheart - Law that it must be in every Scotsman's top 5

Dark Knight - Im a superhero nerd need I say more

See No Evil Hear No Evil - Toss up between this or Rush Hour 2 for my fave comedy ever

Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers - No explanation needed

These don't get enough hespect being caught up in all the other God tier Spielberg/Dicaprio movies and the GOATest trilogy but they're probably in my top 10.

Of the top of my head

The Departed

Braveheart

Saving Private Ryan

Gladiator

The Dark Knight

Alright, off the top of my head, excluding Comic Book Movies which are basically the only thing I care about:

Coming to America, Goodfellas, Ex Machina, The Fundamentals of Caring, Looper.

Honorable mentions: Edge of Tomorrow, Limitless, Deja Vu

Bit of movie hangover after probably the biggest year for movies with Endgame, Star Wars, and some others but watched a couple trailers recently that changed my top 5 I guess.

Was no hype for A Quiet Place 2 after they killed Jim Halpert in the 1st but the trailer convinced me. Ghostbusters was in my top 5 till just watching the trailer.

Suppose

No Time to Die

A Quiet Place 2

Black Widow

Wonder Woman 1984

Maybe Dune?

American Gangster and Training Day were pretty damn good. Forgot how good Denzel is

Might need to make a top 9 in honor of Bubba Sparks

That song was number 1 over here for 16 weeks. Bryan Adams might be the only good thing to come out of Canada.

Rounders is probaably #6 on my most watched but if were putting turrible Orlando Bloom movies in, I'd have to admit that Troy is up there. Its like my Blue Streak of the 2000s. If its on, i'll watch it.

The wife & her friends were watching "Hustlers" when I got home last night, .. Lopez playing a stripper/ hooker looked old and fat - I don't get it ?

... I fell asleep so I don't know whether that was by design or not, .. unprostitutable imo - also unwatchable -

* I don't watch a lot of J-Lo chit, .. but when I do ⚠️

Watched the jay and silent bob reboot.

Its clever in a weird way, a retrospective looks at kevin smiths career, a continuous running in joke to reference everything hes ever done, cameos from everybody whos ever appeared in his movies. Takes the piss out of itself, hollywood, everything... and i dont really know if i absolutely hated it or appreciated  it, its in this weird superposition.

Theyre so old now, its doesnt offer anything new, and im really wondering if kevin smith has anything left in him. Probably not

The Wandering Earth

Netflix.  Chinese sci-fi with English voice overs.  A bit over the top and even a dummy like me was questioning the science but shut the brain off and watch.

He comes off a little abrasive on his podcast. Reminds of the dynamic Schuab and Callen have on their podcast. He has to dictate everything or be a contrarian for the sake of it. Love his movies but it doesn't surprise me to hear he's butted heads with a lot of celebrities.
