Dana "Be like Rhonda - not like Jones"

Ronda made a minimum of 2 million for her last defense.  You seem to have a hard time understanding how much the top draws actually make.  You said McGregor will be lucky if he makes 200k in his next fight when he will easily make over 5 million.  He will likely get paid roughly what the gate is bringing in which is over 7 million.

Conor said hes getting paid more than the gate

Regardless of the payment...there's a lot of truth in what Dana says...but not all. I'd say maybe 80%.

How you treat competitors and represent the company is worth a little. There are other fighters who do it even better than Rousey.

Of course, Dana looks at it only from the checkbook perspective.

If independant and respected journalists are prepared to name Ronda Rousey as the most dominant athlete on the planet it can only possibly lend credibility to the sport of mma, it can cast it only in a positive light.

No chance would any reputable newspaper (in the UK at least) give someone with Jones' reputation such an accolade.

It kinda does make sense from a buisness perspective that he would make such a statement.

Ellenberger is not a title holder getting a cut of the ppv like Ronda

If Rousey is getting an est. $2 -3 per ppv and show has 590k buys than she will be getting minimum of 1.18 million + show/win money

You;d think she`s be worth more than Jake Ellenberger.

It's an interesting thing to say.

Rousey, the WMMA undefeated champion and alleged most popular fighter in MMA made $130 k for her last defence.

Jake Ellenberger who was on the same card made $136K .

Ellenburger didn't fight a can he could dispatch in 14 seconds lol.
