The UFC have been systematically been trying to write Couture out of history and now the same seems to be happening with Rampage. On this Rogans Riff he states the Silva vs Henderson fight was the first super fight between the pride champ and the UFC champ but Hendo got the fight with Silva on the back of a loss to Rampage in a fight that was for the UFC light heavyweight title and the Pride Middleweight title. The Rampage vs Hendo fight was also a far better fight.

Not one mention of Couture either tut tut tut

Or, the UFC mentioned that super fight because they are currently promoting a Silva fight.

Crazy, right?

Yeah fair enough but they could at least have mentioned it as the second time it had happened not as the first totally bypassing the Rampage vs Hendo fight (the fight that actually made history)

The only reason they put Randy in the hall of fame is simple, When they inducted him he was still a hot commodity and was a year away from taking the heavyweight strap from Sylvia and still had many more fights in the UFC. If Dana could find a way to drop him I reckon he would jump on the chance.

The UFC treating guys like Rampage, Couture etc this way must help keep others in line because the others must think if they can treat legends that way

I think Rampage's entire career has been black balled, was he not ripped off money by his trainers and such over the years?

Now when we see the kind of money the UFC CAN throw around "Conor" we know the UFC has been undercutting all of these fighters. UFC is paying Conor 4-5 times his normal worth but he is not bringing in 4-5x more money, matter of fact 2 years ago Conor would be lucky to make 200k,now he claims 1 million.

Rampage has got a raw deal his entire life,i wonder how little they paid him to do the Tuf,likely not much,Dana would make it sound like their doing him the favor.

Dude Conor has a 9 figure contract because the revenue from his last 2 fights combined was 150 million dollars.  Granted he had stacked cards with heavier title fights in the co-main events but Lawler/MacDonald and Rockhold/Weidman don't sell but about 300k (350 tops) unless they get Ronda Rousey as their co-main event.

The only people that come close to generating the kind of money Conor brings in were Lesnar and St. Pierre.  Rousey was generating the most even with garbage cards but if she loses to Holm in November it's over for her.  She will retire and go to the WWE.

Has Conor got a 9 figure contract yet?? I seriously doubt he has unless its long long long contract and takes into account sponsorship, tv deals, fight purse, bonus, ppv etc because a UFC fighter earning 9 figures is still a way off

I don't want to live in a world where a ginger midget could potentially outsell a fight between RAMPAGE and SHOGUN

Rampage helped Mighty Mouse sell 100 thousand pay per views at UFC 186 with a 668 thousand dollar gate.  Conor helped Mighty Mouse sell 225 thousand pay per views at UFC 178 with a 2.2 million dollar gate.

Conor>Rampage

Stephan Bonnar. Case closed.

Not really no. Bonnar is in for a particular fight. For being one of the two fighters that dragged MMA out of the dark ages.

Rampage's biggest claim to fame in the UFC is defending his title over some dude that went on to go 5-7 UFC.

These "legends" are bums.
