This is familiar to the great Melbourne Hype job where they promised Lawler/Condit and left them with lolwmma.  If it wasn't for Rob Whittaker, Hunto and Honda getting her head kicked clear into orbit it would've been a complete failure

Since Conor's opponents seem to always find a way out of fighting him, as often as Jon Jones does exciting stuff, I figured this was only appropriate.

Who we thinking? Nate's broke. He deserves to get a solid beatdown in the first round. We're right on schedule for another embarrassing Diaz performance anyways.

Cowboy would do it. He'd die. But he'd do it.

Who you got? Whose bum life is going to get changed now?

The "correct" thing to do would be to bring El Cucuy v Khabib forward a month and make it an interim title fight.

But then the UFC has thousands of angry Rackydj's on their hands.

Assuming that Conor will fight, and that he'll have to be at 155+ due to all those steaks, the following might work:-

1. LW interim title fight v Khabib or Ferguson.  Cerrone at a push (although that's a harder sell)

2. WW title fight v Lawler

3. non-title fight v Diaz or Cerrone

Only one of those comes close to the super-fight we were all looking forwards to, and that's Lawler.  Really don't think Conor's earned that fight though.  I'd settle for option 3; a fun fight with a bit of beef.

Either worried about the result of the drug test or duck

Imma gonna go with both

I'll take option number one for one thousand dollars, sir.

It's currently -250 at the sportsbook.

Raging

If he wants to still fight it will have to be at Lightweight now. He's been training for a LW fight no way could I see him making FW in a couple of weeks.

Can I get a refund?!?!?! I paid for this fight specifically!!!! Can't believe my first ufc match is turning out this way!!

You should be able to get a refund once the main event changes.

I would do it too. You shouldn't give them money for something you didn't pay to see. Sets a bad precedent and they'll use it to continue to **** on fans.

This is why you shouldn't pay a billion dollars to go to a UFC event anymore.

Lol no kidding

Imagine basing an entire weekend in Vegas and then getting the Hendricks vs. Thomspon Fight Night treatment when you paid for a title fight.

Imagine his poor countrymen flying over from Ireland and paying $1000 for a plane ticket. Ouch.

Also, the timing of this is sketchy. What did RDA call Dana at 3AM today?? Or do we have another Aldo situation where the UFC waited until it was too late for refunds?

I'm guessing this. They pulled the same **** when Henderson pulled out against Jones.

unbelievable cowardness once again waiting for the last second to pull out of a title fight against McGregor.  No Mcgregor should have to fight someone else. he is fighting for the title we do want to see a non title fight, this is unfair to Mcgregor

Cowboy or Diaz for fun (and a beating for either one)

I would understand Cowboy. He deserves a fat check for always saving the company.

Nate, eh.. He's a clown. He has one win over a ranked opponent in the last four years. Gray Maynard doesn't even count.

Cowboy would get embarrassed. The only advantage he'd have is being the bigger man.

If Nate is in shape, I'd rather see him fight Conor.

I also wouldn't mind a Mendes fight at 155.

Would like to see Ferguson please. Would seriously be a hell of a fight.

I remember aldo saying he was going to train just in case though..

So edgar is injured. Rda is injured. Mendes is coming off 2 ko losses. Khabib probably not ready. Leaves cerrone, Nate , Aldo and Ferguson.
