There are many things we need to do on gun safety, including requiring liability insurance to own/purchase a firearm (like we do to own a car). It would probably cost an average hunter $5 a year, but if you have a history of hate crimes it would be cost prohibitive. Commonsense.

It's amazing how the BLM clowns are so stupid that they don't demand honesty from the media. It's very obvious that black lives don't matter to the media. But nobody ever calls them on it.

You should tee it up for some of em of Twatter. Do God's work.

I know that because people were all over Twitter yesterday talking about "where was the good guy with the gun to save the day?".  Sure we won't hear as much about how police took out the Dayton shooter in less that 1 minute from the time he started shooting.

According to reports, there were 2 legal carrying gun owners in the store at the time....1 chose to escort children and women out of the store, the other was an innocent black guy they detained and suspected was the shooter.

I just think it's a beautiful opportunity to let the two sides that I strongly dislike fight it out. BLM are turds and so are the media. And I bet my life I can find some can like Jim Acosta tweeting something about "two mass shootings", just waiting for the trap to be set.

This is obviously a tragedy, and similar incidents takes place all across this country in cities everyday...but the media takes advantage of the event and pushes gun control, only because no black/brown people died.

Beto on the news this morning acting like the Messiah to solve the country's violence problems.....lol

El Paso was a righty who went out of his way to leave a post saying this isnt trumps fault.

So basically a loony lefty, and a loonie righty.

Both should have been shot on the spot and save the tax payers and families the trial.

Stumbled across his Twatter today in Luke Thomas's comment section. It is still as painful as before. But he's got some new Tourette's-like phrases. Give it a read if you need to feel better about yourself.

He’s going to get the death penalty, and ironically his hero recently announced the resumption of executions of federal death row inmates.

SMH.  Definitely wanted to fuϲk his own sister

Quote

According to Daily Beast, Betts’ sister, Megan, 22, and an unidentified male “were found shot” near the mass shooting scene. Betts arrived in the Oregon District with his sister and her “companion,” before the shooting, police said. At some point prior to the shooting they separated. Betts’ sister was not the first victim of the shooting, but was one of the initial victims. Police have not said if he was targeting his sister. Her companion was wounded, but not killed, and has talked to police, authorities said.

They’ll drag the appeals out for years on end and trump will be long out of office.

if he really wants to distance himself from these loons doing violence in his name, he should push hard to have this guys appeals pushed through and off him as quickly as possible.

That would send a message.

Cool, but when you buy one, they walk you out the door just like any big box gun store. You dont have possession of the firearm in the store at any point.

Like I said, gun free zone.

And only fudds shop at Walmart for guns.

Wether anybody likes it or not the reality is that guns arent going anywhere, blacks will continue to be the GOATS of killing people every year despite being 13% of the population, Mexicans will continue to flood the country with or without a wall, taxation will still be theft, the government doesnt care about you and neither does any politician and only use murders to push their political agendas and get re-elected, etc etc.

It's useless even discussing these topics anymore because nothing will change.

If he was mowing down children and women, I'd be heading into to danger,,,,we all got to die sometime, and he'll probably miss me when I'm cracking solid shots into him.

If not, it's been fun....see ya on the other side.

True and I think we can all agree that @VertFTW's post about requiring people to pay millions of dollars a year to large corporations for gun insurance will definitely help the situation. ??

There was this one i posted yesterday but Twitter has since taken it down. The El Paso guy was apparently a right wing Trump supporter but his twitter only had like 30 tweets or so.

This was the account...

https://twitter.com/outsider609

and some brief post about him here where i found that account linked to him.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100212342473

About your question on whether extreme rhetoric triggers violence of course it influences but the rhetoric isn't so much to blame as the mental illness. If you've ever read about holocaust survivors, stories of war etc. i believe it's part of human nature. It is known that anyone can be pushed over a line of no return given enough horrible circumstances & bad feelings for a person to be triggered into a state of mind to take actions they'd never otherwise do but going out and murdering folks you've gotta be pretty damn sick in the first place. Given the right amount circumstances everyone is capable of horrible things but people with mental illness are way more susceptible to horrible acts.

All of this AI stuff, big data info collection analytics & personality+profile mapping human behavior as a predictor for targeted ads, memes, propaganda etc. to sway the hive mind has me wondering though...Certain puppet masters are most definitely pulling strings weaponizing social media, news & entertainment on a larger scale than ever before. It's a form a programming for sure. Who has more understanding of these data points & how to target more than most? What would be the motivation? To tear society down and build a new one?....

In regard to the above paragraph i watched a show on netflix last night called the Great Hack that talks about that. Pretty interesting docu-film on social engineering.

Better than having taxpayers foot the Bill...let gun owners pay for these situations while we work on banning assault rifles

This is exactly what I was saying when people were telling me this **** wouldn’t happen in areas where people are armed.

Not only are normal citizens not going to confront a shooter 99/100 times, but most would be panicking too much to even be effective if they did.

Not to mention that you’re liable to shot by police on sight if you’re holding a weapon during an active shooting situation.

Hows those 1800 murders a year faring out for you in Cali? Oh and 1200 of those murder by guns...

Yikes.

53% of the guns seized in California were sold in Arizona and Nevada. As I've stated several times before, if nothing is done nationally, the states are limited in the success of strict gun laws.

That's pretty much my thoughts.

Most people will **** their pants and run.

Very few would engage. Myself, I'd protect my own, try and help out where I could especially kids around. But you wont see me trying to Rambo and get into a fire fight. I doubt anyone on this forum alone would do it outside of saving family.

I also think most people who would engage would have a high percentage of killing an innocent in their own.

According to the forum, the shooter looks like a liberal, he's not really white, and the old standby, this is another diversion to shift the focus from some other political event.

You have a moral obligation to your family, that's it, at least in my opinion.  I was thinking about that today, I'm no hero, not now that I have someone else to consider.

My wife just carries in Walmart anyway, we were just there like 2 hours ago.  That why folks concealed carry, so nobody knows you've got it.  (I know you know that btw, just thinking out loud)
