-well if frankie decides to go down at 135,definitely a fight with Dom and TJ would be fun to watch.

-dodson vs no love is also a match up that should be made after the lieneker fight.

145

-well pettis got a shortcut fight after his struggle with oliveira.he challenged a guy who won't back down.max is on a roll at FW and arguably should be fighting aldo.pettis could have gotten cub or bermudez.

155

-eddie should fight khabib or ferguson next.

-if conor decides to be at 155,he can get RDA.

170

-actually a catchweight or if a.silva can go down and fight wonderboy,i think both are elusive striker.

-from bellator-wonderboy vs MVP is quite interesting also

-twood should fight maia i guess.maia is impressive with his fight against NBK.

-cowboy vs lawler will be wild.

-gastelum with the right nutritionist will be on his way to a titleshot in 2017.larkin will be interesting as well.

185

-bisping vs jacare

-rockhold vs mousasi

-weidman vs whitaker is on the table

Pettis unanimously won the first round 10-8, and subbed Oliveira in the third. Do Bronx couldn't have won the fight, only earned a draw. You don't submit a submission specialist in the third round if you're even remotely out of gas.

^^There's a better summary of what happened, since you obviously didn't watch.

i did watch but if 1-3 is that impressive for you then let it be(max just wants to fight anybody).1st rd definitely pettis,i agree.2nd rd he showed some signs of slowing down and if not with the guillotine on the 3rd he might be in trouble in the last minutes.he's gassing out before the sub.

It was 1-1 tho tbh. Makes no difference since Pettis finished the fight like a boss before it went to the judges

Lol Pettis subbed one of the best BJJ artists in the UFC with his opponents trademark submission... are you dumb, Sir?

well i won't take anything away with that win.before the sub,he was actually getting lit up.bronx got careless.well,he doesn't deserve max, that is the main point.he should work his way up the ranks.pettis is 1-3 then now he's trying to still what max has worked for.cub or bermudez should be the fight for him.maybe even korean superboy would be interesting.

More accurately, he was lighting up Do Bronx. lol.. At least, according to the judges ringside, and not some retard on a forum.

Max said Aldo is next, and if he doesn't get him, he wants Pettis. Get over it.

so you literally agree everytime with the judges?no self opinion at all?you  basically just watched the 1st and 2nd rd and got stuck with that.well, pettis fan boys will justify him as a contender now after being 1-3.

I disagree often when there's a 10-9 round. 10-8 is pretty indisputable. Even a salty casual like yourself should be able to wrap their peanut brains around that.

I know you're not really keeping up with the sport, because you continue down the "1-3" road, but this was Showtime's featherweight debut. Charles Oliveira is NOT a lightweight. If you're going to randomly list a record with no weight class listed, Showtime is 19-5 overall.

ROFL well,i watch if i have time and manage to keep up because i do have a life and a job.going back to showtime, well yeah he is 1-3 again in his last 4 fights and obviously you'll go back on the submission win.no doubt it was a W,but not impressive and doesn't give him a ticket right away to fight a top5 guy.bronx WAS a LW btw.if you were really offended with the STRUGGLING statement, well i do apologize but by the looks of it,he was struggling in the last rd.

Again with the arbitrary "1-3" thing. lol.. Are you slow? Honestly. I want to know.

^^A lot of people scored the Alvarez fight for Showtime.

http://www.fightmetric.com/fight-details/3ce6f9eb59a1e149

^^Statistically, he dominated Eddie Alvarez. Total strikes 109-74 for Showtime. This is one of those times you should be talking about judges being idiots, but I'm guessing since you're a next level casual that you missed this fight? Shooting for 15 takedowns and landing 3 strikes on the ground shouldn't win someone a fight.

I'm going to go ahead and score this fight 50-43 for me, and ask that you STFU and stop sounding so stupid.

Are we really debating whether or not a recent champ from the weight-class above deserves a number one contender match after beating the number 6 in that division?

It's a no-brainer. You can't match pettis with someone lower in the division, and if he beats max he deserves a title shot.

The only debatable point is whether max should even need another fight to get his shot....if they strip Conor, he should probably get the shot at Aldo.

i guess you were deeply affected by the struggling comment.well,if gassing out doesn't look as a struggle before the choke and you see it as being dominant, that's your take on that matter.

pettis can't fight somebody lower but then max can?after max's streak, now his only option is pettis coming of a win on his FW debut, after going 0-3 in LW.max deserves the shot either with aldo or conor.Well conor being a spoiled princess,he should vacate his title at FW and maybe try to go and get a fight with eddie.pettis can go with cub and even the korean superboy.

You already said the part about struggling. You sounded retarded on the first go around. Even more so now that we've established days ago that Oliveira could not have won the fight, and Showtime subbed Oliveira with his very own signature submission in the third round, nonetheless.

At this point, I'm really just beating an idiot over the head. Tap out and disappear again, like you usually do. lol

Good grief.  If Max fights Pettis, it's a legit. number 1 contender match.  Clear cut - no questions asked.

If Pettis fights someone like Brian Ortega or Hacran Dias, it doesn't do much for the division.

Not sure if you're debating for the sake of it, but when the number 2 has just lost to the number 1 (and is talking about vacating the division), the number 3 has already beaten the number 4, the number 5 is a proven can, the number 3 fighting the number 6 in a no.1 contender match is the most logical match possible, especially as they both want to fight each other.

Yes, Max deserves the shot right now, but rather than waiting for it, he wants to fight.  Let's give him some credit instead of moaning about Pettis not deserving the fight.

if doing much for the division, then why not let him fught guys like bermudez and cub.actually even a phenom and an up and coming like korean superboy would be a good fight for pettis.conor right now doesn't have plans of getting back at 145 and that would be a struggle because his muscle gain going up at 170.then let aldo defend the FW belt with max instead.

anyway, rivera at 135 would be a good additional in the mix and would be an interesting fight with cody.

cain should get the shot and a very interesting match actually.werdum vs barnett is a more reasonable fight.JDS vs black beast!!!
