  1. 1. Who wins?

Blessed is on a 9 fight win streak. I hear Conor will be fighting Alvarez at 205 and they might to do Holloway vs Aldo for the interim belt on that same card, the winner getting an opportunity to fight Conor next.

Who wins, Jose Aldo or Max Holloway?

Connor doesn't get the LW shot at 205 homie

Joe Rogan says that Conor vs Alvarez is almost booked. The only thing holding it off is Conor wanting to keep his 145lb belt and the ufc not wanting him to do that. Conor will win out he has the leverage.

I feel like you said that 201 would break two million also (I'm positive somebody on here did), and that didn't happen.

No that wasn't me. I said it would beat ufc 200, which it did, by 500k buys.

Ufc 205 is going to be stacked from top to bottom and is a special event. If Conor headlines it will break 2 mil.

Aldo blitzes Holloway but that is not the issue, If the UFC allow the running man to avoid Jose Aldo again after promising that Conor would have to fight Aldo next is a complete and utter joke. Conor is a scared little boy running from the Revenge of a Brazilian legend, Dana White himself needs to grow some balls and stop letting that little creep run the show and dictate 2 full divisions

why the hell wouldn't they let him keep it

if he beats alvarez they can promote him as a 2 division world champ, what does it matter that he's on too bigger and better fighters since when has it been a problem for a champion to go up a division and be exciting? God damn I hate fans sometimes

Aldo is just one of those guys that if he comes in and does what he knows how to do he is virtually unbeatable. I hate to say it but he kinda became a "decision specialist" since he came to the UFC (I dont blame him tho).

The way he charged at Conor in 13 sec kinda made me mad at him. I dont think he fought smart at all. I believe that if Aldo was a little bit smarter (and had taken his time) he would had either chopped Conors legs or he would gotten a sub at some point.

Back to the topic .. Aldo beats Holloway by decision.

Blessed gets rocked in the first after multiple leg kicks then drops, aldo pursues and max lays an anaconda or darce choke on and puts aldo nightynight.

But aldo vs mcgregor 2 would be great because aldo would win.

Its backwards mma math, mcg beat aldo and max previously then max beats both via submission in rematches

Then you woke up

When the old breed fights the new, more often than not, the new breed win.

Aldo's a legend who gets far too much disrespect round here for my tastes, but he's pretty much the same fighter he was 5 years ago.

Blessed is constantly evolving and will be Aldo's toughest fight in the UFC.

Holloway all day, every day. I'm much more interested in the Holloway/Conor rematch than the Aldo one, so I hope he takes it.

The reason I'm interested in the rematch is because the tired "McGregor felt Blessed's hands and hung on for dear life" is the single most annoying cliche trotted out by the anti-Conor brigade (even more ridiculous than the idea he was ducking a pillow-fisted point-fighter).

I think Conor takes the rematch fairly comfortably, but it would be a heck of a scrap, plus if anyone at FW has earnt red pantie night, it's Max.

Look at the gif above lol. Conor destroyed blessed on the feet, absolutely crushed him. His knee popped so he had to wrestle which showed the heart of a champ to overcome adversity. Anyone who says otherwise is trolling or doesn't watch lol.

I know that, you know that, but the revisionist Conor haters cling to this one like their mothers.

All that said, Max is a much better fighter now than he was then. If 9 wins on the bounce doesn't earn you a shot at the champ, I'm not sure what does. Conor v Max is one of the fights I most want to see right now.

Yet another thread not about Conner that became a thread about Conner

Every thread about a Lightweight or a Featherweight made by any member becomes a Conner thread though.

The guy goes out for the kill every time. Even the haters like him deep down
