Boxing Thread: Joshua Next Opponent?

Big ****er just has amazing movement in his defense.

Add in the size and reach

Could go on a long run

I don't know what to think of him. One day he talks about how he's depressed and suicidal on Sundays when he takes a day off of training. The next he says he has 3 fights left on his contract before retirement.

I dont follow boxing so I can say I am clueless to this.

But, if he talks like that, it opens the door for a bad night where the king can get dethroned.

SMASHED him. Great Britain with ALL the belts.

Has to be Joshua next. Last night's fight left no doubt about who is the better fighter. Don't need no rematch....

Wilder got smashed in the first fight, got a lucky punch which didnt finish anything but was blessed with a draw from **** judges, Wilder got absolutely destroyed in the 2nd fight from start to finish and had to be saved from his corner, yet theres talk of a rematch clause ? Seriously?

Fury is without a doubt the best Heavyweight on the planet, he will make Joshua look like the **** that he is, he ain't no fat mexican nobody, he has the weight, reach, speed, height and cardio advantage over Joshua

Joshua? Fury threw on like 20 guillotines and A-level take down defense. Give him Stipe.

Great night for boxing. Fury is a huge man with an even bigger personality.

No need for a third one, Fury has beaten Wilder twice now.

Joshua will be a little tougher for Fury since he actually has some boxing acumen

Lol. I apologise for my esteemed fellow countryman being a bit slow on the uptake at times.

If Fury/Joshua happens, does the fight still need to take place in the U.S. or could it be in London?

If the hype is to believed, it says have it in Wembley and celebrate all that is U.K.

Can all parties involved make enough money if not in the states?

GSP would have laid waste to both fury and wilder. on the same night. those two amateurs couldnt stop a GSP takedown to save their lives.

GSP Bless.

Fight won't happen soon. They'll both get a couple hype up fights and wouldn't be surprised if AJ is Fury's retirement fight next year. Wilder/Ruiz for the storylines would be fun too.

someone needs to start a 5 stages of grief thread for wilder.

Fury boxed his face off & his legs followed.

Accepting you suck & need to git guud is the first step. Wilder is still in the denial stage i see. Pride & ego is a helluva drug.

Most people aren't going to spend $80 when they are only interested in 1 match.

This ^ and paying each fighter 25 million when neither is a proven PPV draw and their last fight did 300k buys. Read where this fight was marketed more than any fight in the last 10+ years which Im not sure if true but I can't think setting yourself up for a break even at 1.2 million buys is a sound strategy no matter what spreadsheets you're using.

This had to be the biggest fight boxing could make too. I couldn't see Fury/Joshua or GGG/Canelo 3 doing bigger numbers at this point and I went on reddit/boxing thinking it would be doom and gloom over there and the general consensus was something like

Image result for i see this as an absolute win
