Super Bowl LII

I wonder who the referees will manipulate the game in favor of. Most likely the Patriots but they are due for a loss. The Eagles winning their first Super Bowl with a backup QB might be a better story than Brady getting his 6th ring.

Always the patriots.

The Patriots 1 penalty vs the Jags is the fewest penalties called on one team in a playoff game since the 2011 AFC Championship... when the Patriots were called for 1 penalty in a win over the Ravens.

Have a great time watching your "sport" where they do a 10 second play then stand around for 5 minutes ****ing around before they call a timeout and then eventually do another play. All with 25 minutes of commercials amongst all this. But it's more interesting than a gsp fight, I'll grant you that

GO EAGLES!!

As soon as the Eagles score the flags will start flying.  Tom and Bill will release their nano drones that fly around stealing plays.  If Gronk plays he can put his hands all over DBs but Eric Decker barely touches one inside 5 yards off the line and flags start flying.

Chit is hella rigged.  Eli needed circus catches for both wins over the Patriots.

Nah, it amuses me to point out how stupid football is to football fans because they know I'm right and they have absolutely no response to any of the multitude of criticisms of it.

Chael had a great rant on football on my local radio station but I don't know if he's on record with it anywhere. Was good stuff

Dumbest thing that I've read today. Who cares if you like it or criticize it.

Montana and Bradshaw both went 4-0 in SB appearances....but if Brady wins this one, he'll be 6-2....that's historic in it's own right.

Now, I'm guessing we should subtract any SB wins where there was evidence of cheating...how many was that? lol

at least this many

Combine the skill level, the steroids and HGH, and the toughness, and no other sport is close. One of the "goats" of rugby couldn't cut it in American football.

That's because they were a rugby player.

I'd like to see how an American football player would get on playing rugby...40 minutes without a break would be interesting. They're very different sports.

Anyway stop derailing this thread. Go eagles!

Rugby players jog around at ultra marathon pace for 35 minutes, and occasionally mix in a few full speed sprints.

Lol. I don't think you've ever watched a game. Your argument is facile. It's as valid as me saying a skier wouldn't be able to cut it at snooker therefore snooker is the toughest sport in the world.

Elite sportsmen are specialists at that sport. American football requires great strength, tremendous power and in a few positions, great skill. It is not 'head and shoulders above all other sports' though.
