This 10-part series available on YouTube Red is excellent! I'm not going to give away anything. Hopefully no one will comment with any spoilers until page 2, so that others who have not watched it yet can remain in suspense.

It should come as no surprise that I identify with the main character, Johnny. Dude is a lot like me.

I wanna see the show really bad, but not enough to buy youtube red

Ah, but it's worth it. YouTube is only 9.99 a month. And then there's a free trial. I'm going to see if I can just do the one month trial and not pay the 9.99, but even if I do, 9.99 for a season of any show good is pretty good deal.

You're going to get some good responses to this. I have faith in this forum.

Dude, I'm completely unapologetic about who I am. I'm a divorced, middle-aged guy with a ****ty job and a short temper. I see the world for how it really is, I see people for who they really are, and I see myself for who I really am.

Alright, I made the thread prematurely, as I had only watched the first nine episodes. Any one of you knuckleheads could've easily spoiled the finale.

Now I was certain the finale was going to disappoint. I was fine with that, the ride was great and I was prepared for something mediocre. But the final episode was excellent, totally did the series justice.

Not going to give away anything, nothing. I'll say about the series is this:

The karate kid was made for children. Cobra Kai was made for adults who used to be those children who watched the karate kid 30 years ago. Sure, millennials and this new generation can watch this and enjoy it, but it's meant for us.

It's definitely good. It's definitely cool.

Our government is in cahoots with Hollywood to fine people for it. I know a ton of people that have had notices sent to them.

Thats ****ed up. I DL a **** **** amount of stuff and never got a warning about it (other than my ISP ****ing about bandwidth usage back when on the unlimited plan I had). Dont know anyone who has gotten a warning either up here.

Feel lucky, because Hollywood has it's slimy fingers in quite a few countries. They've been harassing the Swedes, Danish, Dutch, and a few others. Going all around the world to police ****ing torrents and streaming sites.

We waste a lot of money on frivolous, fairly victimless crimes.

I've gotten 2

One was for downloading some stupid Jason Aldean **** for my ex.  Not sure what the other one was for.

They said the max punishment I would get would be temporary suspension of my internet service (I'm so scared).  Now I just use Peerblock in lieu of getting a VPN

I'm re-watching this show. It's excellent.

I was reading through this thread and I thought this, and I have to say, this applies just as much now as it ever did.

My only complaint with the show was Crane Kick 2.0. Everything else was amazin', including Revenge of the Fat Black Cow. Her character arc was awesome.

Yeah, I liked her. She was cool.

My complaint is how one dimensional Daniel's wife's character is. I mean, she's a major character in the series, yet she only has one purpose: steer Daniel in the right direction. Every single line she has is directed towards that. She doesn't seem to have any other interests. In fact, her only interest in her children is through Daniel, making sure that he treats his daughter the right way.

She's not hungry. She doesn't want a glass of wine. She's not upset about anything. She doesn't want to go anywhere. She doesn't want anything. Doesn't seem to dislike anything, either. She's just there to gently admonish Daniel-son so that he does the right thing.
