Would be dope. In front of 45k screaming Aussie's, GSP wants to run to WW but there's a tonne of footage with him saying "To be a champion you need to defend the belt" - given he took it from Spits, you can be sure Rob wants to beat him to silence any doubters.

There's really no other clear contenders when you take a good look.

MW TOP TEN CURRENTLY

1 Yolo - Rob's beaten twice

2 Luke - got rekd by Yolo, ran to LHW

3 Criedcan - 1-3 in last 4 and was nearly KTFO in his 1. Just, no.

4 Kelvin - current contender. 5-Weidman in last 6

5 Souza - Rob KTFO him and recently lost to Kelvin

6 Brunson - Rob tko'd him. Looked good til Jacare did the same

7 Branch - Outsider, beat Santos. Not ready

8 Tavares - Rob destdoyed him

9 Machida - retire

10 Hall - Rob destroyed him

11 Costa -.Future champ possibly. Needs some good matchups

So, just for chits and gigles, who wins this matchup and how?

Rob would beat anyone in the MW division and GSP fairly easily, I think. His closest fight there would probably be Kelvin and I couldn't see Kelvin winning. After you've faced Yoel and beaten him twice, you're not gonna have any issues with the other guys lol

Kelvin's 1-1-2 attack has slept a few guys but Rob's too fast for that I think

Rob would knock Georges into next week.  Grease said "It's in my contract to fight Whittaker when I win the title."

Then he proceeded to duck and claimed he was sick.  GSP is done.  Rob, Kelvin, Yoel, Brunson, Branch they would all stomp that cheating piece of chit.  GSP would get wrecked by Dos Anus at welterweight.

i dunno, Kelvin is deceptive like you say.  Been impressed with him since TUF.  Will be a great fight tho, both tough as nails.

At least we know Rob won't underestimate him like same have.

I just think precision and footwork are far in favour of whittaker plus versatility with his striking, also is death as a counter striker, where Kelvin has explosive power. Like i said, like the match up, but LOVE Moose vs Rob 10x more

Bobby should cash in and move to Bellator now for that fight!!!!!

and once Kelvin's mediocre striking technique and zero gas tank get exposed then who?

Your guy doesnt seem too hard to hit m8. He got KOd like 6 times vs Yolo and Yolo is more of a tazmaian devil than an elite technical striker.

His bones are also made of styrofoam. Kelgod will leave him in a full body cast.
