Pain in the @ss aren't they? I've never had one. My Dad worked on cars for a living. He always told us to never bother with them

If you like a billion re-calls buy a Ford.

I've owned a few. I only buy used older vehicles now and they were/are all pretty reliable & lasting for what i paid for. I'd rather just buy a car/truck outright than pay notes or lease. Best i ever had was an old Toyota truck. That thing lasted for ever.

I like Ford just fine but i know too many people that had constant re-calls to deal with.

Chevy is one of the worst for breaking down from what i've seen and heard from others.

GM (Chevy, ect.) has more recalls than Ford but recalls are meaningless as most dealerships will put you in a loaner while your car is being recalled. Just sold a Ford Fusion to somebody last week. Recall takes 3 months for parts so customer gets a free ride for 3 months. The real issue is mechanical and Ford is one of the more reliable brands.

This is true. We got a letter from Ford saying that they will pay $30 a day for us to get a rental car while they get the parts to replace the airbag.

I don't know chit about cars but i do know Fords are reliable. I've owned a few as i said and many people i know that do know a lot about cars swear by them.

My mom has an explorer currently as do i. Hers is newer though and the re-call thing is fairly often and inconvenient for her because the dealership is way out of the way.

If OP is sufficiently obese will you give him a fora discount on a Ford?

Taurus do seem to suck from what I've gathered. A few friends i know had one and most had issues with them. My l8 brother owned one in the l8 90's and it had transmission issues among a few other things. My dad had one b4 as a company car and it had issues but to be fair he drove long distances for jobs offshore and hardly drove it all when he was in and obviously didn't drive it at all when he was working offshore which he did for weeks at a time sometimes up to a month so it would just sit parked during that whole time which isn't good for a car.

Every Ford i ever owned were built Ford TUF & ran well. I always had trucks though except for a crown vic.

Help me out guys! I'm getting a new ride and I can't decide which one to get. I know their the same but I can only get one. I need yall's opinions

Do you want a truck that does what a truck should, or do you want a truck so you can buy groceries with your old lady?

There is a reason most people who use trucks as a truck choose chevy and how women like the fords.

If that doesnt answer it for you, go buy a ram.

The Rustang was never Americas car. The Viper was always the car that everyone wished they could afford and the best sports car for the money, smoking cars twice or even three times its price.

Then the Brits and Germans got together and gave the yank a bloody nose ;) lol.

In all seriousness though the viper is beautiful machine would have it over a clone like Porsche any day.

Lol wut?

Viper has always sucked! It's fast sure, but is also one of the most dangerous cars when you step on the gas. The ACR is the only Viper that can handle curves like a champ.
