Can't go much lower than this.

NewFC has been doing some really low head scratching chit but this one will be tough to beat even for the most desperate of money hungry hebs.

Brock with his impressive 5-3 record is gonna get a title shot against DC. The same Brock who got his first title shot while being 2-1 with wins against such legends as Heath Herring and Min Soo Kim. Yeah that guy.

Anyway, the biggest problem with this is the man hasn't had a win in 8 years, hasn't fought in over 2 years and his last fight he got popped for roiding against 50 year old Mark Hunt. Nothing screams #1 contender like those stats.

Lastly, other than coming straight out and saying "We are only doing this for the money now and we no longer care who deserves a title shot" how does the UFC market this to anyone other than WWE fans? There is literally no way to convince anyone that Brock deserves this title shot, nobody, not even Vert would listen to that chit.

Anyway, rant over. I really do believe there is no way the UFC can go this low again.

I agree. The circus is on and will only get worst, m8.

If CM Punk had win his last fight he would have the next shot on Woodley too

You can't even get mad about it, you can only laugh because they aren't even trying to hide how desperate they are for ratings and cash anymore.

I don't see it as low. I too am more of a purists but i don't mind smart business. Also there are certain fights i like seeing that have zero to do with rankings or who earned the spot.

If there aren't clear contenders or timing is/isn't right i don't mind at all the odd match-ups if they are interesting. I do find DC vs. Brock could be an interesting match-up. People like to $hit on Brock but he is a threat.

One match-up i'd love to see above all others is Yoel move up to LHW and challenge DC for the title. That fight would be SO fkn amazin'.

Another is Nick Diaz vs Robbie rematch. Timing is off now but i would have loved to see that.

I agree that he shouldn't be getting a title shot. He should get a top 10 or 5 and hope he wins.

Btw I'm sure he roids but he never failed a test for them.

Juice, come on. Are we gonna say that an estrogen blocker isn't a performance enhancer now? Of course it is.

We all know that only his fanboys and stans will contest that.

I hope DC buries his ****

Also not saying Juice is a Lesnar fan or stan

You know Jones is coming back to also an immediate title shot

Difference is Jones was a reigning champion for an extended period of time and has never "lost" the title. He was stripped.

Cain destroyed Brock when he was champ and then Brock proceeded to lose to everyone but Mark Hunt afterwards.

Couldn't have said it better, all the WWE Dweebs on the fourm are showing their true colors getting all hyped about the fight, if the UFC actually go ahead with this **** and market it anything other than a laugh fight then its officially dead

Without reading through all of this, these guys have a rivalry that literally goes back 20 years, before either one of them ever even thought about competing in the UFC. They are the same age, guys. They both wrestled in competing division one schools and they knew about each other then. Hell, they might have even competed against each other, I don't know. I'm not googling that ****.

What I do know off the top my head is that while they were both at school, Brock was the runner-up in one of the division one championships, then he won the championship the next year. Daniel Cormier went on to compete in the Olympics.

Anyway, Brock Lesnar used to be the Heavyweight Champion and then had diverticulosunyhtecititusinaminosis. Messed him up for a while. Daniel Cormier is now the current heavyweight champion.

You couldn't make a better storyline.

The only person he lost to after Cain was Alastair Overeem. Do you even watch this ****, little man? Because I usually tend bar on Saturday nights so I barely ever get to watch that ****, but even I knew that.

That's because Reem was the only person he fought after facing Cain (besides Hunt) because Reem caved his liver in

My bad. We should just give Junior Dos Santos his 15th Title shot. Or how about Alistair Overeem? He's sort of irrelevant right now and he's coming off two losses, but it'll make you guys happy, right?

You know Fabricio Werdum has gone 0-3 in his last outings with ranked fighters. But he's a better choice than Brock Lesnar, right? Yes? No?

Maybe Cain Velasquez. They are teammates and good friends and that would be one hell of a way to put a damper on occasion. Also, he's been out for over two years because of injury. Anyone but Brock Lesnar, right?

Now after the show these knuckleheads put on last night, what may very well go down as one of the most disgraceful performances in the UFC, i'm not going to be so bold as to sarcastically entertain the idea of Ngannou or Lewis getting a title shot. So those guys are out.

Really, the only other person besides Brock Lesnar that even make a little sense would be Curtis Blaydes. But who is he beaten? Only two guys or anyone has ever heard of, and those two have been in the twilights of their careers for about a long, long time. Alistair Overreem and Mark Hunt. Brock Lesnar is a way more compelling fight.

Brock Lesnar is the only fight.

But Soup, lets get to the real question we know you want to ask.

What wrestler has DC ever really faced? I mean, he cant be a real champ without facing  a Division 1 winner, 4 Olympic Gold wrestlers and Hulk Hogan himself in the octagon (nowhere else matters)

My understanding is it isn't a performance enhancer itself but it is used to mask the use of performance enhancers so that's why it's banned.

You're assuming people outside of MMA forums/websites give a **** about who does or does not deserve a title shot. They don't.

They care about seeing stars fight and Brock Lesnar is a star.

A lot of the people crying are also the ones that were all in on the Mayweather fight. Bunch of hypocrites.

At least this fight is between two MMA fighters.

^ Dude, you could have ended the debate in one kill shot with this. There was no need for name-calling, I was just wrong. I made some damn good points, but I was wrong.

I wasn't thinking about this guy, he hasn't been given a lot of coverage by the media, so he sort of flies on the radar. I'm here to debate, but I'm not so stubborn as to refuse to change my mind when presented with facts. I'm not like other posters on here.

Daniel Cormier spent nearly his entire athletic career as a wrestler, dummy. He has faced plenty of wrestlers.

I am aware what argument you're trying to make, what parallel you're trying to draw, but you did a very poor job. Don't try to get into a debate with me, you'll lose. You're not as smart as me. So just go back to insulting my profession.

I could get on board with the Jones vs Lesnar fight, it was a fun “nothing” fight. Brute force Vs Huge mma skills. Really shouldnt be fighting for a title belt.

A rematch between Lesnar & Dad bod overeem would be more interesting & realistic.
