Local Fox Affiliate = No Prelims!

Worthless jag offs at WSVN, the Miami Fox Network affiliate, have a nasty habit of showing chit local programming like news, Inside Edition, and other dumb chit, instead of the UFC Fight Night Prelims. Now I have to channel surf to find an alternative like Fox On Demand. Fork that, these guys and gals may be cans, but I'm looking for a fight! Anybody else having these problems with the dumb azz local Fox station?

Fox always pulls that dumb chit. They routinely cut into fights with baseball and fookin truck racing. So glad the UFC is going to ESPN. Fox sucks

I love the part where you think the UFC is going to get any more priority over that stuff on ESPN than they get on FOX.

Obviously the streaming events won’t have that problem, but the TV events aren’t going to be any different on ESPN.

It makes a lot of sense to me it wouldn't be any different but do you have a source or you just going on educated guess there?

No source just his opinion. ESPN is actually a legit 24/7 sports network. Its not far fetched to think they'll take UFC programming more seriously than Fox did. I mean truck racing ffs...

I don't think they'll do it much different than Fox tbh. Especially for as little regard for MMA as they've shown in the past.

They'll probably have more coverage but i doubt it will be much more.

I think theyll have a lot more personally, especially when the big fights/cards roll around. That DC/Stipe fight would have been all over ESPN constantly

I've seen them do it for other sports. They will piss people off if they cut off a game or race that someone has been watching for hours unless its a blow out.

Every sports network does it with every sport. Hell, non-sports networks do it when they’re airing sports with the programming that airs afterwards.

If they’re showing live sports programming that runs long, they’re not going to cut it off before it ends to go to something else, no matter what is coming up next.

The UFC airs on essentially the Canadian version of ESPN up here and the same thing has happened here too.

Now, maybe ESPN won’t schedule live programming right before UFC as often as FS1 does, but in situations where they do, don’t expect them to cut away when it’s time for the UFC to start if it runs late.

i cant wait until they finally put a decent title fight headliner on fox or espn and right at the start of the fight it cuts to like a poker game or some horse racing or mens tennis, because for some odd reason they thought that a main card with a 5 round fight and 4 or 5 other fights would only be 2 hours so thats the most they allotted for it.
