Mature discussion plz. https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2018/8/2/17642068/former-ufc-champ-cody-garbrandt-on-controversial-tweets-i-was-a-teenager Cody Garbrandt’s controversial old tweets have resurfaced as of late, causing a bit of a stir on social media. The former UFC bantamweight champion’s tweets in question were from 2012-2013He has since deleted these all from his profile. Garbrandt, who fights this weekend, was questioned about it during a media event to promote UFC 227.[/size] Sherdog’s Anthony Walker asked, “You’re probably already aware of some unflattering tweets that resurfaced today. Do you want to take a moment to address that?” “I won’t even address that. That was when I was a teenager,” Garbrandt responded. “Anyway, next question.”Garbrandt was indeed a lot younger at that time, but it is worth noting that he was already at least 21-years-old during the string of tweets in question. Social media was also quick to point more recent examples from Garbrandt’s account, with him tweeting #AllLivesMatter in 2016, and being accused of racism for repeatedly calling Aljamain Sterling “boy” while arguing online in 2017. Garbrandt had addressed those comments towards Sterling, saying he didn’t know “boy” was “politically incorrect” and that he should’ve called him a “little ****” instead. I mean ... the dude has neck tats and acts like a wigger, is this really surprising? I like Cody's fighting style but he is truly a bozo.
