Gilbert Melendez released by the UFC

Recommended Posts

Hell, even at 1-6, he's doing better than most of those idiots on his team.

Jake Shields got bodied clean out of WSOF. Nick's still sounding like he's huffing duster. Nate is the successful one! Nate!

Didnt he weirdly drop off at the same time as Aldo & Barao....right when usada came in. Went from perenial top contender to zero.

Honestly i stopped thinking about the guy when he tapped like a biatch for next to no reason to Pettis.

Didn't he end up in a mounted guillotine, and wasn't it the only tapout in his whole career? lol

The next step for Melendez is retirement.

In that last fight of his in the UFC he literally looked comparable to BJ Penn.

The plan is to head over to Bellator with his wife. Bank on it.
