I watched a bit, and trundled through some of the links.  My short take would be that this kind of dramatic presentation, with sensational images (there's a snake slithering around at one point as they describe how the vaccine might be administered) and appeals to authority ("Thousands of doctors agreee!!!") are entirely unconvincing to me in the absence of any real, peer-reviewed data.  The sheer scale of the people who need to be "in on it" if the vaccine is just a trojan horse for dodginess makes me very sceptical tbh.  

I have more sympathy with the second link you posted as there is still a case to be made against lockdown IMO.

It's a dramatic presentation to be sure Bubba but by presenting a lot of information in one piece it paints a bigger picture than each individual bite of information would if they were each portrayed as a stand alone article.

My disclaimer is that i neither agree nor disagree with the information that i post. My modus operandi would be that it is at least worthy of some consideration. I read it, digest it, and if so motivated move on to further research the information given. A lot of it is fact based but a piece such as the one in question may contain just a single piece of factual evidence in it's 53 minute presentation that is pertinent to my analysis of current events. The rest i can happily ignore.

As i have previously opined to the fora at large. Read the posts or ignore them. I care not. The opinions of game players and alkies are entirely to be expected, your's on the other hand i find to be worthy of note and i've always got time for a different perspective.

Exactly, we called around to the quality nursing care facilities first before deciding on ambulance transfer. The place we chose told us all the strict protocols and "nobody" in their facility had Cov19....but we do have her in a private room, hoping for the best.

My daughter is in the hospital, my wife just got out of fairly major surgery last Wednesday, then the MIL breaks her femur in 2 places the day after Thanksgiving...not counting my new Audi dual turbo got totaled on the 20th, was supposed to pick my new car up today but we have a snow blizzard here and can't get off the mountain.

November has been a train wreck, and I'm running on major sleep deprivation.

UK the first in the world to approve the Pfizer drug for use.  Modena/Oxford likely to be approved within a week or two also.

Vaccinations will start next week, so I guess we should pencil in the Zombie Apocalypse for sometime around New Year.

Indeed i do but i wasn't there. Not that i wouldn't be down for a swing just for the experience but fk getting Covid.

When i moved where I'm at now i was surprised to find that the swinging scene is fairly common(ish) in this town & area. I never did any swinging even though i was asked to once but it wasn't the right people i wanted to be involved with & my GF at the time didn't want to either so we turned them down lol

Why is this less than the cost of an Advil at the hospital? It’s almost as if drug prices are artificially high and when the companies aren’t allowed to exploit sick people the actual costs are reasonable

We are hovering right around a < 2% mortality rate as of today's numbers in the United States and the positive cases numbers are only those being tested. 

 

It seems that the ceiling for deaths is being far outpaced by the amount of cases. 

 

Could this be because nursing homes are pretty much through this phase of the virus? Hard to tell. 

 

The one I mentioned before has no in house acquired cases since November 17th and is currently taking positive patients from hospitals to recover on their special "AQU" (acute quarantine unit). 

 

They had 65 positive workers, 0 died. One was hospitalized and vented in my ICU and one was hospitalized in a smaller community hospital uo the road in the ICU for a week with no vent.

 

Current treatment is remdesivir and in more serious cases plasma depending on kidney, heart, and lung function.
