UFC Island

Recommended Posts

Did Dana buy Epstein's island from the government at auction?

Will they forgo athletic commissions and follow the natural progression of the sport to finally allow death matches?

Will Dana acquire nuclear weapons and become a rogue state?

What say you, forum?

Shang Tsung is one of the owners of WME-IMG, and while he thinks it's ****ing ridiculous that they don't fignt to the death in UFC, he's willing to let it happen on his island because he's a huge Justin Gaethje fan.

What are the odds that Justin punches straight through Tony's chest?

it looks like their tachi-yokut tribal council actually governs that area, but still i cant really find any governing bodies that are sanctioning the event. CSAC is actually the only one that i can think of that could actually make this card legit in the sports world

https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/04/reports-ufc-249-set-to-take-place-on-california-tribal-land

Tachi Palace has a long history of hosting MMA events, preceding California’s 2006 legalization of the sport. Twenty-two of the first 24 WEC cards were held at the casino, and the Tachi Palace Fights series ran from 2009-2018.

CSAC has regulated events at the casino when asked by individual promoters, such as at Invicta FC 25 in 2017. The commission told the Times it will abide by Newsom’s edict and will not oversee any events.

“The commission echoes the guidance of California Governor Gavin Newsom, the Department of Public Health, local health officials, and the recommendations of the Association of Ringside Physicians regarding the cancellation of events where people may be at risk of contracting Covid-19 and encourages the industry to do the same,” the commission stated. “The commission will not participate in the UFC event on April 18, regardless of the event location.”

In a statement to The MMA Report, the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports indicated it will consider UFC 249 an unsanctioned event, and that officials who take part in the show could face sanctioning by their home commissions.

“If the fight occurs, it will be considered a non-sanctioned event since a state/tribal commission will not be present,” the statement read. “All officials that decide to participate in the event, they may be sanctioned on a tribal/state level.”

so basically all of the governing athletic commissions in the region want nothing to do with this event. perhaps the tribal council will be able to sanction it, and the athletic commissions will recognize it.   but obviously the CSAC and NSAC are not on board with the UFC or their motives. they could just as easilly have a problem with it and just refuse to officially accept the fight results and simply deem it as fake news.  but their pocketbooks kind of need the UFC. especially at a time when theres not much else for sports and they wont be making lots of money off licensing fighters or events or from taking a slice of guys like jon jones' purse when they catch them roiding dirty.  so it might be in their best interests to just accept it and carry on with business as usual.   at least they probably couldnt be held liable if things go south and they could just turn around and pin everything on the tribe.

i still think its going to be a big issue.  why would the WEC have had to deal with the CSAC for their events if they could have just bypassed them altogether and gotten the tribal council to sanction the event and everything would be just peachy in the books and records?   this event could very well not be legitimately sanctioned or even recognized. for all we know, tony and justin may as well be fighting for a paper paper championship or a fake fake belt

at this point, who really knows how this is going to play out?  this event is sketchy as fook.  at a time where health and safety is paramount, theres no usada testing being done and i doubt any of them will be screened for the chinavirus or even given a proper medical.  this event and all future events will no doubt be called off if even one of the people coming in are found to be carrying the virus, and right now the ufc is trying all the loopholes and doing everything shady just to still have the event so that they can get paid. if just one guy who gets off the plane, through an airport, into a dingy hotel room and then into their tribal land ends up testing positive throughout the whole ordeal and it gets out to the media, aint nobody in the world gonna be crazy enough to let that **** carry on, and the ufc will forever tarnish themselves as some of the most ignorant fookers on the planet.   even epsteins island, international waters, and the surface of the moon will tell them  to kick rocks

they were gonna fly the lolita express out to epstein island and host the event there, but all the women are overage.   they told the ufc to kick rocks and go bury their heads in the sand, so theyve found a place in a barren desert to do just that

even easter island is overrun by the corona and thats about as remote of an island you can possibly find. 2 people are infected. thats half of their entire population/governing body.
