This CBS Sports change is kinda chiit, their platform is pretty cheap...Paramount was better, and could DVR it for later anyway.

Bellator has a YouTube channel with the prelims on live for free in HD. The main card is on their network. I actually get the damn thing so it worked out well for me. They run a variety of very random, mostly useless chit. Rodeos and Lacrosse, chit like that. But I do enjoy that they run replays of the Bellator events, so you're not required to catch the lone broadcast of it.

However Gegard Mousasi is a top 15 most well rounded fighters that the sport of MMA has ever seen. Size didn't favor him by much but he's fought middleweight and light heavyweight as champions. He's also fought heavyweight/open weight a few times. He's only 35 years old I wish he was still in the UFC because they need contenders at middleweight and light heavy. Lima was on the back foot because Mousasi has a black belt in hands. Lima still busted his leg up. Yeah he lost the early rounds but took the 4th and Gegard laid on him for about the last 2 minutes of the fight. Mousasi won't be dancing like Yoel after Israel supposedly beat him to death with leg kicks. Marty and Colby would have to make it boring (Marty always does) to beat Lima. Masvidal would have to sleep him fairly early because he's old and small for the division. Leon Scott would lose a decision. I actually like the way Lima matches up with a fairly old Wonderman. In short Gegard could tune up most of the top UFC middleweights despite being high mileage. The welterweights wouldn't stand a good chance if they move up. None of them. 3

Imo Moose would absolutely be holding the belt if he didn't leave. Also him vs Ruthless Bobbie Brawler would be a god damn war Same with Lima in the UFC ww div.. although he'd be small compared to the UFC weight cutting cowards there. No he would not be small compared to UFC welterweights. He's big for that division. Colby and Jorge are the small guys for that division. Lima doesn't cut as much as Marty but he cuts a lot for WW.
PlatinumClegg 47,725 Report post Posted October 30, 2020 Marty and Leon are like 200 pounds. Lawler who is old and doesn't matter is 200 pounds. I would say Lima is similar weight to those guys. However Gegard Mousasi in his 20's fought heavyweight like 216-218. That's your typical middlweight for over a decade though. He went up to 205 in strikeforce and other promotions so he could cut very little weight.

I think you missed the B in Bobbie m8 Also, in general in the UFC they're all bigger and cut heaps to get that slight advantage. Bellator historically has guys at or closer to their legit weight. Eg Lombard was a MW champ and had to drop to WW to get that equal size again.. Shlemenko in his prime, MW but would be tiny in the UFC MW.. more recently they're similar with more cutting though. They need to all copy OneFC and use hydration testing. Edited October 30, 2020 by OzPride

I would agree with the hydration system. I don't agree that they had to cut more weight. Lombard took 195 catchweight and I'm almost positive at least a few light heavyweight during his Bellator run. Was he bigger because he was on steroids? Of course. The weight cutting between the promotions is pretty much the same. Usman might weigh a little more than Lima but not much. However on the flip side Mousasi definitely walks heavier than the fake African stringbean Israel. That wannabe Nigerian would need to put on weight to be as heavy as Marty. That's why he got a manboob. He's trying to just weigh in for a 205 fight and can't take the estrogen blockers. He was calling another man a steroid cheat while being a steroid cheat.
Bubba_Sparks 59,381 Report post Posted October 30, 2020 Moose is highly underrated imo. You don't get to 47-7 across several top organisations without some serious skills. Shame the UFC didn't offer him a decent contract. He would absolutely be in the mix for the belt.
