UFC fighters pay tribute to Octagon legend

Georges St-Pierre's Steroid-Free Dominance

UFC hit the stream with a video featuring fighters as they talk and pay tribute to the one and only Georges St-Pierre. The hall of famer and two-division champion from Canada is widely considered as the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.

GSP returned to action in 2017 claiming the UFC middleweight title, following his dominance as welterweight king from 2007 to 2013.

You can watch the video up top.

Didn't he only pass one usada test then run away? That **** was roiding his whole life

facts are not subject to your feelings. georges st pierre defeated every single opponent and drug test he has ever faced. thats something that picobones jones will never be able to say. last i checked, he was still hiding under the cage!

also, leading up to his destruction of michael bisping, at the very least we know about, gsp was tested 9 times in 2017, 4 times in 2016 when he wasnt even competing, and 6 times in 2018 before he retired.

https://ufc.usada.org/testing/results/athlete-test-history/

gsp doesnt hide under cages from USADA officials or run from the law. he doesnt have a court appointment to see a judge every other weekend. the only time he ever batters his wife is when the octagon door shuts after his opponent steps into the cage with him. strippers pay money just to watch GSP. the only thing that GSP has ever pulsed out is 100% unadulterated all-natural canadian excellence. GSP Bless!

With the rate at which the sport is evolving GSP would be a mid carder like Magny or Chiesa in modern times but no doubt back in the day he was one of the best

Being one of the 8 or 10 best guys at your peak is no easy task either. Hespect to the gayest fighter to ever grease in the Octagon

lol the sport evolving?   these days we've got champs who put on a hollywood act just to win a belt via DQ and then doing everything possible to try to avoid a rematch. most of the key fights booked for 2022 are all rematches.  and jon jones has went from beating up fighters to beating up his wife, conor mcnuggets only wins lately are against some DJ and a drunk guy at a bar.

gsp wouldnt be a midcarder. he would crush everybody today, just as well as he did in his prime.  hell a 40 year old GSP would manhandle magny and chiesa in their primes and finish them via any way that he wants. both on the same night. the sport has completely devolved after GSP decided to fight michael bisping for the belt and then retire.

i mean look at the natty goat now,   they should make a GSP breakfast cereal and call it Shredded White.

C'mon mate don't take away the feat of spending 25 minutes to not armbar Dan "not even white belt in BJJ" Hardy

GSP spent his entire career humping the legs of dudes that would have been getting finished over in Bellator by Koreshkov.

Come to think of it, this Canadian foglet is the ONLY UFC champion in history that I know of who has tapped to strikes. At least the only WW champ. What a legacy

only legends tap to strikes m8

heres the 2020 comprehensive list of legends who have tapped to strikes:

Georges St PIerre (vs Matt Serra)

Frank Mir

BJ Penn (vs Georges St Pierre)

Alistair Overeem (vs Ricardo Arona)

Valentjn Overeem (vs Chad Griggs/Rafal Dabrowski/Gary Goodridge)

Pat Smith (vs Royce Gracie)

Joe Doerksen (vs Joe Riggs/Matt Hughes)

Antonio Mckee (vs Shinya Aoki)

GSP threw that first fight anyways just for an easy payday for the inevitable rematch. he threw that  fight just to hone his skills and reincarnate himself as gsp version 2.0   AKA Gameplan Georges.   Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Georges was never going to slide in the new era of MMA, so GSP had to evolve with the sport and formulate a gameplan in order to succeed. and succeed he did. he retired with the greatest legacy that a fighter could ever dream of.  he retired after cleaning out two weight divisions and taking home the belts. he didnt go out face down and get put out by a bunch of bums and then resort to beating up women or drunk bums at the bar, or even end up gettiing beat up by drunk bums at the bar like BJ Penn did after the GSP curse took hold.

he didnt even take that midget hall of famer seriously and nobody else even remembers that fight anyways.  its literally the only dirt that the haters have that they can even bring up just to hate. that was like 20 years ago and deemed as the biggest fluke in all of MMA, so i'd say thats pretty impressive if its like 20 years later and thats still all they have to go on. everybody knows what GSP did to him in the rematch, and everybody else afterwards.

bj penn was the lightweight champ and the lightweight goat when alpha georges beat him up so badly that he decided to tap from strikes while he was on the stool.

thats just the first example that comes to mind.

theres nothing honorable about spending a month leading up to your fight drinking beers in a hot tub trash talking your opponent saying "ha ha georges! you quit! you quit!" only to end up getting beat up so badly that you quit on the stool.  thats almost as pathetic as conor mcgregor saying that poirier was going to have to be carried out on a stretcher after the rematch, only for conor to end up being carried off on a stretcher after the fight.

also theres nothing honorable in being a champion of the world and heiled as one of the greatest of all time only to end up on the receiving end of a fight that recorded the most landed strikes on one fighter in ufc history. a record that stood for several more years to come, and probably still would not be broken to this day if bj penn didnt tap to strikes on the stool and would have let gsp batter him for another 5 minutes.

the best there is. the best there was. and the best there ever will be. GSP Bless!

that wouldnt be as exciting as the time when georges st pierre knocked the middleweight champion of the world ded with a savage left hook and then proceeded to strangle him unconscious and take home the title.

ufc put up GSPs debut UFC fight on youtube. Amazing.

that was incredible absolutely!    theres nothing like seeing joe rogan having an orgasm throught the entire fight over how great of a grappler karo parisyan is while he's busy getting grapplefuсked by georges st pierre, who at that point they didnt even know who the fook that guy is.

truly the greatest. he spent his ufc debut the same way as he ended it. with a dominant victory

Nobody in his life time has called Dan Hardy Gumby

The SmarK Rant for UFC 111: Georges St. Pierre v. Dan Hardy

Fourth round was the same story, with Georges sinking in a kimura and basically standing above Hardy with a “What the hell do I do now?” look on his face. Dan Hardy is truly Gumby, that’s the only explanation.

https://insidepulse.com/2010/03/28/the-smark-rant-for-ufc-111-georges-st-pierre-v-dan-hardy/

Rap rules the airwaves at UFC 111

With his Gumby-like ability to survive the most painful looking armbar, Hardy’s valiant attempt to unseat the welterweight champ likely made his country proud, despite a losing result.

https://lasvegassun.com/news/2010/mar/28/rap-rules-airwaves-ufc-111/

If riddum was ‘the force’, GSP would be a Jedi Master

Props to Dan Hardy for training with Gumby prior to tonight and even bigger props to GSP for earning another chapter in the mixed martial arts history book (hopefully, MiddleEasy will get a footnote…somewhere).

https://middleeasy.com/mma-news/if-riddum-was-the-force-gsp-would-be-a-jedi-master/

Why Dan Hardy Should Face Thiago Alves at UFC 120

When Hardy faced GSP, he harnessed his inner Gumby and went five straight rounds in survival mode, being ground-and-pounded and nearly submitted on several occasions.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/399317-why-dan-hardy-should-face-thiago-alves-at-ufc-120

i could go on all day with this. would you like some more?

do you ever get tired about being wrong about literally everything that you say?   but i guess thats what you get when you champion for losers like jon jones and donald trump.

he's been trying desperately all month to get at me.  maybe one day soon he'll get there.  its weird though because usually it doesnt take much to get a rustle out of idyb.  this dudes definately overreaching though.   must have been something i said about GSP.
