How does Dana get Conor the title again

Chandler vs Canor sells just as well as a title fight imo and it's a fight that Conor can win since Chandler gets wobbled fairly often.

Chuckie Olives is a bad matchup and if Conor did somehow win, he would never defend anyway so it's pointless ruining that division for 1 payday.

LMAO.. Chuck strangles him in 60 seconds flat.

When Conor throws that left hand down the pipe Chuck will do the stanky leg.  I was wasted last night how many times did Justin feed him to the canvas?  Bet it was at least twice and I know that fight didn't even go past the 1st ****ing round.

Conor would kick the bloody **** out of that bum.  Dana puts that belt on Conor's shoulder for press conference pictures.  That goddamn beaner Charles can't make weight or speak ****ing English.  Since Khabib is retired and Conor made weight when he won the title.  That means he's the champ.  These interim champs don't count.

Should be:

Canor vs Chandler

Canor vs Gaethje/Poirier

Canor vs Oliveira

He'll never make it to the belt.

Of course he'll never make it to the belt if this is part of the line up.  Gaethje and Poirier could jump a lot divisions and beat up even old man Glover.  Jon Jones is basically a fat can maybe that would sell.

Is Conor allowed to spark them in 1v1 fights?  It can be the same night.  First ever co-main and main event fighter in modern UFC history.  He gets all of the PPV points and makes like half a billion.  Retires to the Lambo yacht in the Med with plenty of booze, cocaine and Slavic women trying to escape Russia and Ukraine.

He can get away with hit and runs.  That boat has twin 2,000 HP motors.  It will do like 80.  Probably 90 if Conor is driving it.

I could see Volk fighting Conor somehow. That would make.... not a lot of sense, but in the UFC, it really doesn't have to make a lot of sense. It would sell PPVs. And I doubt Volk is selling any by himself.

It would certainly make a lot more sense than him fighting Usman.

I suspect that Conor's obsession with body-building will last at most one fight.  Possibly not even that; as soon as he starts a proper training camp, he'll realise what a bad idea it's been packing on muscle to his skinny frame

There's no way Canor ever see's 145 again, I highly doubt he can make 155 and still be effective...he's got 1 choice to go 170, that's where he fought Diaz 1 & 2. Since then he's only gotten bigger, and added muscle mass....that's a tough weight cut, just ask Chandler.

He'd just need to lay off the weight-lifting for a while and run more.  Dude is probably eating 12 eggs for breakfast just to get to the size he is.

He's only 33, and has never missed weight.  Him and Chandler are totally different body types (ecto v endomorph)

I can make the same weight i was in my late 20s and I'm in my mid 40s now!

All that said, i agree, it's very unlikely he'd want to go back down. Seems obsessed with lifting weights right now.

Looking back from photos from then damn did it add some chest mass. I look like one of Usman's great aunts put a head shrinking curse on me

  • 2 weeks later...

Baldy wants his money, and 5 of the top 10 selling ufc ppvs involve CANor.

Do not pass GO, do not collect chump change $200.

CANor goes straight to fighting Chuckie Olives for the strap.

That’s what I think it will happen because at the end of the day is about the money.

I have a theory too.

It was more suitable to have Conor getting a shot at a vacant title maybe ?

Obviously the next fight should be Oliveira vs Islam but we all know what baldy …

No. They need Conor to get a win. He doesn't have the same KO power at the higher weight classes. He ain't knocking Chuck out. And there's no way he leaves without getting strangled.

They aren't setting up that fight, guys. Trust me.

I understand your point but with the mans new physique I think that remains to be seen.

Muscles doesnt always equate to ko power but Conors a guy that had the 1 punch knockout before so I think it's more likely in his case that a bulked up frame means more KO potential at the higher weight classes

It was his speed that was killing people. Generally, you don't pick up speed with bulk.

Also, keep in mind, he ain't fighting at 170 against anybody worth a damn. Maybe Nate Diaz and his noodle arms, but not somebody like Usman or Colby. He would get destroyed. So he'll be cutting that muscle to make 155. He isn't going to look like he does now when he shows up in the cage. This isn't a Jones at HW situation.

I think the Conor "bulking up" thing was a vanity project while he was recovering from injury tbh. Like you say, if he fights at 155 he'll look identical. If he fights at 170, he's still going to be noticeably weaker and smaller than proper WW's.

Speed for sure but he's an accurate long puncher that catches you right on the end of that stretched out left hand.

I'd like to see him jakt at 170 just for the hell of it. Would be fun to watch and something new.

If its 55 though, youre right, he's gonna have to shed most of that new muscle.

I saw a video of him driving that Lambo yacht and him exiting off the back in Monaco.  He hasn't bulked up anywhere near as much as people are claiming.

And no... the copycat McGregor that's jacked AF is not actually Conor McGregor.

Charles eats the deck in every fight.  Dustin not finishing him was ridiculous.  Dustin admitted to getting flashed in their second fight.  You can clearly see when it happens and Conor didn't follow up.

Conor partying the entire camp defended takedowns from Khabib much better than Poirier or Gaethje.  Why doesn't anyone say they suck on the ground and can't wrestle?  Gaethje couldn't wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag from what I've seen at this level.  The leg could likely be a problem as it's been 11 months since the break and he can't even attempt to grapple yet.  Also rumors he doesn't return until 2023 because of it.

People act like McGregor got on a cycle and beefed up to 200 pounds or some ****.  He might weigh 180 with clothes on.  Probably did get on a cycle but he hasn't gained crazy mass.  He also hasn't been tested by USADA since he broke his leg.  Not once.

As for Michael Chandler?  lol Pitbull is smaller than UFC bantamweights and he gave that bums the hands.  Chandler has 4 UFC fights.  He's 2-2 without beating anyone coming off of a win.  He's very familiar with all the logos on the canvas because he's seen it 7 times already.

Charles Oliveira is legally blind and officially retarded.  He stopped Chandler with strikes.  Ferguson and Hooker are both 1-4 in their last 5.  At least Conor is 2-3 with only losses to Khabib and Dustin.  One of which via broken leg.

Conor will definitely fight someone orthodox.  He's pretty trash against other southpaws.
