How hilarious would it be if Neil Magny derails this hype train?

Aoutneil would have gotten his chit pushed all the way in against Chimaev. I haven't personally had time to catch any Shavkat fights, so I do not know whether or not he's going to steamroll Magny like Khanzat would have. But Magny was calling for both of these fights, and good lord, the idea of a journeyman can like Magny derailing a UFC hype job is just tremendous. It's gonna hammer my parlays, but it would be great for the lulz.

What do you think? Is Shavkat gonna pie this clown?

Kat has fought way better opposition than Zat and has a higher ceiling imo. Dude is legit. That said it would be good to see @LayDownDeadmake an appearance if his boy managed to pull it off.

I'd like to see it.  Hilarious that Magny wanted Khamzat but outside of prime WW RDA I can't remember anyone wiping out.  At least not that badly on the ground.  His length typically gives opponents problems but Shavkat is 6'1" with 77" reach.

They will keep them away from each other though.  When Marty beats up Leon Scott there's no one left that could be promoted.  Wonderman has been losing and he's 40.  Two undefeated challengers is better than one.

I was thinking the same when I saw Magny getting dominated by Shavkat.

I’m not sure if it would be “hilarious,” if Neil  Magny won this fight.  It might bring a smile and a sense of satisfaction to some who are not Shavkat fans; maybe a sense of relief to his potential future opponents and their camps.  
 

There’s a handful of emotions it could bring, but I don’t know if any of them would really resemble the feeling of watching live stand up or a real good sketch comedy.

Here’s Someone who is really great with expressing ideas who can describe how I feel about the frequent misuse of that word.  HE is hilarious.
