How do you make your coffee? Bonus question - what is your favorite type of coffee?

My preferred method is french press

Invested in a coffee grinder and french press in 2020 and haven't looked back. Freshly ground beans + french press = smooth and enjoyable coffee.

I also started buying different coffee beans throughout the country through drinktrade (they haven't sponsored me yet). I've probably tried more than 30 different coffee brands and can confidently say that the East Coast (specifically New York) has the best coffee.

Discuss. thx.

Why is there not a pour-over option?  Is it so uncommon?  Anyway, that's the method I use.

When I lived in my camper I wasn't connected to electricity.  So for coffee I would heat up a kettle on my Coleman stove and would use the pour over method.  It makes pretty decent coffee, so long as I'm using pretty decent coffee.  I never bothered to buy a coffee machine since, and I still use the same kettle and the same glass dripper I bought over 6 years ago.

BEANS ONLY !!

#1 - early morning/  pot of black, cigar, newspaper, & dog at feet

#2 - late morning/  espresso

#3 - late afternoon/ ice-coffee, tea,, or cocoa

**  Coffee type/  Brazilian Arabica  -(has lower caffeine content than most)-

I tried a Brazilian coffee named "Peixoto" . From Peixoto Coffee in Arizona, all coffee is from Brazilian farms,  etc

Hands down was my favorite coffee bean

I agree with the beans! I'll never buy grounded coffee. Never know how long they've been sitting on the shelves

I keep my coffee beans nice and secure and when I'm ready to grind,  they'll still taste great.

It comes in the form of a 7.5 ounce can of coca-cola.

I think a can of cola is about 45g of caffeine. Not a whole lot, but you do you

I prefer Jack n Coke. Not only will I feel effects of the Jack, I get a little caffeinated too.

That has a whole different connotation in the US ....  lol

Bubba didn't drop tea-bag in there without knowing what he's doing.  We've Americanized him over the years.  Brit that lives in scandinavia and his only friends are Americans/Australians on the internet.  What a sad case of identity crisis he must be going through.

And most of my irl friends over here are south African. It's perplexing.

You're right btw; I couldn't lurk on the nerd thread for many years without picking up tea-bagging references.
