He looks like ten pounds of chit in a five pound bag, but I don’t watch this **** anymore because I can’t be bothered to stay up until 1 AM to watch to live anymore.

I want to experience the moment Jones gets bodied though, should I stay up?

There are many variables on this fight that makes me think Jones is getting stopped by Gane.

It seems to me that Jones will be too predictable and Gane will probably be ready for it.

Jones lay off, first time fighting at HW against a top 3 who is quick on his feet for being a HW.

Im just not seeing Jones having an easy fight like some people are saying

My same thoughts.

I can see him getting completely gassed out by the end of round 2 or early round 3 and that might not be good against an active HW like Gane.

Also let’s not ever forget Jones always struggles against big dudes

Haven’t been here in a long time but stopped by and saw this.  How any of you didn’t dump Jon at +100 when he opened is crazy.  Francis wrestle humped Gane, what in the hell did you think was gonna happen?

I said Jones in the 4th via sub.

I underestimated how stupid Gane is.

How, as a very solid striker do you just stand there and let Bones walk you down, knowing if he grabs you the fight is over because you have zero ****in ground game?!

I was astounded how garbage his gameplan was.

Gotta agree, especially on the physique comments. I found those to be the dumbest of all, especially since we already see plenty of evidence for how physiques actually look when people train for strength rather than looks. Jon was 100% correct when he said "this isn't a bodybuilding competition". Just take a look at the guys who win those strongman competitions, or powerlifters, or even shotputters for pete's sake. Even a bum like me knows there's a huge difference between building practical strength and just getting toned/ripped/chiseled so you look good.

I'm a confirmed casual who doesn't even watch this chit and even i knew that Jones was going to wipe the floor with Gane.

Prime Stipe might have given Jones a few problems, but I don't see much to stop him breaking Stipe's HW defences in short order.

Fake news.  Before you dropped this thread which was before the fight @cashfl0w and myself told the dummies betting on Gane was a mistake.

And to forget that the heavyweight division sucks?  You must've been dropped on your head recently.  Heavyweights don't fight in MMA.  They play in the NFL.  Kinda like Jon's brothers.

Everyone is doing great. We haven’t had cats in years though, m8. Not since we had kids. 
 

During Covid they massively expanded operations at my workplace, and I was able to grab a sweet 9-5 shift. Unfortunately, now they’ve decided to do away with my entire tour and consolidate everyone into two eight hour shifts. Unfortunately now I have a 2pm to 10pm shift. 
 

I have saturdays off though, so I could actually start watching this **** again if I wanted. Technically I could have the last two years, but have rarely felt the desire to stay up and lose sleep. The UFC certainly does everything in their power to make me not want to bother with all the subscriptions and price increases. 
 

How have you been? Still living in Sweden?

I love you holmes but you have some bad takes.  Jon doesn't gas and he struggles with big dudes?  He was still the bigger man in this heavyweight match.  Gane sucks.  You need to follow the Islamic religion my brother.  Praise be to Allah.
