doc984
lets say shogun beats machida.obviously anderson now becomes very intersested in LH division. dana would defo put next in line after winner of rampage v evens. if anderson wins when his shot comes, whats next for lyoto. he says he wont fight silva. silva has MW title to take his mind off the fact he cant fight lyoto but what has lyoto got to fight for if he wont fight silva as champ i know this is all very hypothetical but its possible and if this has been brought up before sorry. i dont need your " this has been said before, type into search before you start new topic" bollox
Rib
I'd imagine push come to shove, they would fight. don't see to many other options unless Machida decides to go Heavyweight just so he doesnt have to fight Anderson. Likely all those ducks won't fall into place but, i would think they would fight. http://bumpyknuckle.com/theme-songs/

Jade7
I think in the hypothetical situation that Shogun beat Machida and then Anderson fought him and won the belt, the situation would be pretty easily resolved by Anderson's stated plan to retire after three more UFC fights. Machida could just have two fights to prepare to fight for the belt again (which is pretty typical for an ex-champ anyways) and by that time Anderson would be gone. The only difficulty would be if Anderson decided not to retire.
Bigb2181
Has Loyoto ever came out and said he wont fight Anderson Silva? I've only heard Anderson say he wont fight Loyoto Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida have the same manager, Eddie Soares. Soares said in an interview Machida is not interested in fighting Silva. But they would both do it for the right price. After he said that I lost confidence in this being an interesting fight. The Fight would probably be as sparring at best.
