Evan Dunham

Just reviewing my fantasy picks and I gotta say after going through this guy's history of fights and his striking, this kid looks pretty damn good. I'm really impressed at his accuracy of his strikes against Per Eklund. Nice combos. Really looking forward to his fight. Gotta add him as one of my up and coming favorite fighters to look out for!

I had the fight 29-28 evan

but the whole 30-27 for evan was complete BS

I'm so sick of ****ty **** ref scoring.

If you look at the fight as a whole, evan clearly won. He dominated the stand up, and he was able to neutralize the ground. There was no ground and pound. Just sub attempts that he escaped from. So I would say that if evan didn't get the win then he was robbed.

The scoring system is just ****ty though. For 1 ref to think it was a 30-27 and didn't give the last round to marcus was just dumb.

I had evan winning rounds 1 and squeaking by round 2.

IMO Dunham did out-point Aurelios, so the judging wasn't bad.

However I think Dunham needs to eat his wheaties because he doesn't have the knockout power that would make him a truely fearsome threat in the UFC.

Good clean quick striking, but just needs a little extra oomph IMO.

Yeah' date=' he got robbed.

Someone call the policia.[/quote']

naw I think Dunham won... barely. I understand why some people argue two rounds for Aurerlio but I think Dunham did squeak out two rounds... but no way he got 3.

3 vs 2 doesn't change the outcome of the fight, he still wins it, but it makes me wonder what the judge was doing.

Percentage wise I believe more of his opponents shots landed cleaner.

I was impressed with his toughness, though.

The judge that scored 30-27 was sniffing the canvas glue instead of watching that fight.

Aurerlio won at least 1 round outright' date=' and it's pretty easy to argue that he got 2 rounds.[/quote']

Had to have been Cecil Peoples!! HAHAHA or at least someone he trained. I heard that and threw beer at the TV at the bar.....completely nuts that someone could have all three round to one guy. A bum off the street could have call that fight better than whoever it was that scored that fight like that

well you really don't NEED KO power...he has pretty good BJJ, just didn't get to see it in that fight since Marcus is a master, but good enough to survive.

His strikes are just quick and accurate, fully extended arm reach, very impressive again. I think of his striking like nick diaz where he just keeps hitting you over and over with light shots, but holy **** Marcus's resilience made me give him a lot of respect.
