What is it going to be of UFC's MW division?

What are the main names in this class? A. Silva (unless he moves up to LHW), Marquardt, Henderson (still in great shape, but he is like 40)... and then?

Franklin: he moved up

Maia: is he too one-dimensional? IMO he doesnt have what it takes to win the title.

Bisping: can he actually beat the good guys or just talk about it?

Okami? he is not as good as the top 3

Lawler, Cung Le, Mousasi or even R. Souza would be nice to see facing them, but are not in UFC's roster. Plus Mousasi is now LHW. Does anybody else think the MW division is the one with less talent (not sure talent is the right word)?

My boy Anderson left the MW division in ruins. It is in the rebuilding process. There is no clear cut #1 contender atm. After Anderson beats the winner of Marquardt/Hendo, all that's left is Vitor Belfort. Anderson demolished the MW division, and it will be in the rebuilding process for a long time.

It's looking like the WW division, what match ups even look intriguing for the champs? Besides Belfort and Anthony Johnson, but I still think Rumble has a long way to go before he's ready for GSP. The gap from the champs to the rest of the contenders is just too big. Not that the WW division is weak, it's just who can even challenge him? Same with Anderson.

You are very right. But the thing is that all divisions have a dominant champion, only that in all of them you also have a number of guys that are fun to watch + would have real options at the title provided the champions were removed... except MW IMO. Swick left long ago, Almeida is moving to WW (I dont like him anyway). You have guys like Belcher, Akiyama, Simpson and Cote, but they are either rather old or they are fun to watch but no real champion material IMO.

They both had their chances.. Nate got toyed with. It was never competitive. Once the bell rang it was complete domination.

Hendo had his chance with Anderson, he got the takedown, but didnt do jack sht the entire time he was on top. All he did was try and disrupt Anderson's breathing by putting his hand over his mouth. Other than that, Anderson controlled him, and didnt allow Dan to do any real damage. Yeah they're they're the best in the division next to Anderson, but that gap is still pretty big between #1 and #2-#3

so , anderson beat somebody. Do it again. How many great fights have been the second or third time two guys go at it? Anderson is too arrogant, "oh im too good to fight those guys again" BS!!!!! get in the ring and get it on. Nate made a mistake and paid for it, nate is 3 times the fighter he was then, can he beat the man Silva? Maybe, only one way to find out.Hendo was wooping on silva, made a mistake, Will he make the same mistake again, only one way to find out. I think anderson does not want to fight these guys again, cause he knows they are the ones that are likely to beat him. Somebody who goes in and gets beat by a person and then says "hey i messed up lets do it again" deserves a rematch

And if he wont fight em, strip him of his belt, if he wont fight machida or machida wont fight him, strip em of their belt.

Be a ufc fighter woop everyones butt become the champion, dont float around divisions hurting people with no intention of going for the belt. I mean the 205ers, they are all working hard for a chance to get a title shot and anderson is going around in that division as nothing more than a game to him. He needs to step out or step in. Dont mess with a guys chance to go for the belt if you have no intention of going for it yourself IMO.

And i have been a HUGE fan of both champs for a long long time, long before the rebirth of the ufc a few years back.

what a lot of people dont know including the **** who posted right on top of me, is that the fighters dont have a whole lot of a say in who they fight, sure they can tell dana who theyd rather fight and who they wouldnt, but dana overrules the fighters preferences and can put them to fight whoever, they put together what will be best for the ufc organization, not for some ****** who thinks silva is ducking someone else, so yea

The simple and well known fact is.....Anderson will keep defending his title, and do it succesfully until he gives the belt up or going in to retirement.

Nobody will beat him. The middleweight division will always be about him. The other guys are great but they will always be second best as long as he's there.
