Glenpo
Of course he'd be willing to wait to fight the winner. He gets to keep his belt while he waits.
guti
I say give both a shot. They're both no1 contender. hell no .. anderson only has 3 fights left in his contract, why waste 2 fights against nate and henderson.. I much rather see silva fighting rampage , evans , couture ... I say 3 fights left winner of henderson vs nate a top lhw and one last fight against belfort ( if he can beat franklin) and if belford turns out to be a dissapoinment then silva vs couture or machida I ll have a different opinion if silva was fighting more fights but according to the last interview he is still pretty determine about leaving at

Hayabusa
I agree, Henderson and Nate should fight. There is no point wasting two fights with Silva when he has only around 3 left on his contract. Nate and Henderson have both lost to Silva, they should duke it out to find the real number 1 contender.

Assuming he beats the winner of the Henderson/Marquardt fight a second time I would than give Okami (assuming he gets past Sonnen) a shot just to redeem my last loss and than vacate the 185 belt and fight one more time at 205 hopefully for the 205 belt. Vitor Belfort would only appeal to me if he could beat 3 of the top four in Henderson, Maia, Marquardt or Okami during that time. Seeing as how Anderson may not be around long enough to do that a win over Franklin may have to substitute for one of the three wins I'm looking for. AngryAgent
I want to see him fight guys who present more of a challenge then anything else. I don't care if him and Machida are friends, they are both part of the UFC and they need to face each other period. P4P is determined by beating everyone that presents a challenge and beating the best fighters in the world. Step up Silva and make a push for that fight and if they don't Dana you make it happen. With only 3 fights left I hope they don't waste them on some BS. I don't think he only has 3 fights left though to be honest with you all, money talks and I think the threat of him retiring is more of a bargaining chip then anything else...we shall see though. Stripling_Warrior
Henderson should fight nate to see who should take anderson. It doesn't waste a fight on anderson's contract and it would be an awesome fight.
Xhojin
Of course he'd be willing to wait to fight the winner. He gets to keep his belt while he waits. QFT. of course he wants them to fight each other first, that is one less chance he will lose his title. and he can piss around wasting time at LHW where he doesn't have to defend his title. Silva is doing nothing but padding his record now, and Dana and Joe are letting him.
Zrod13
This is a great Idea but if only anderson would re-sign with the UFC for another 3 Fights. The guy is only 34 and I know he's got atleast 3 years left in him. He doesnt drink or party so I'm sure his body can handle it. Hendo wouldnt be down to fight Nate because he's getting old. I'm sure he wants that belt A.S.A.P so that he can defend it atleast once and make a statement. Nate has already had a tuff road to get back to contention and I think a title shot is well deserved. If anderson fights Hendo in the near future then that would allow him one more fight at LHW and then maybe have another title defense after that. The spider just needs to sign up for some more fights and give the fans what they want.
MEKfighter
Lol alot of you guys are making out as if these 3 fights on Silva's UFC contract will be his last 3 fights ever.... You do realise he could easily just sign another contract. He has only said he is THINKING about retirement, he has not made it official!!! His last 3 fights need to be against the toughest guys available, to truely challenge Silva. Hopefully someone will beat him, that way i think he will want to re sign with the UFC. IMO if Silva walks through his next 3 opponents, its likely he will retire. If he is challenged well, or beat, he will sign a new contract. I think he is just finding things a little easy, and getting bored, he has no real incentive to fight atm. He should fight against fighters such as Shogun, Rampage, Henderson, Belfort, Mousasi (if UFC can get him). Those are the fighters that will bring it too Silva IMO, and that represent a real tough challenge, and that each have the ability to actually beat him, and in a good fashion. Ahwell, we will see in the near future.

As much as i think nate is a good fighter , its just a waste to put silva against hendo and then nate ( assuming he beats hendo).... I want to see silva fighting top LHW ( evans , rampage, rua ) or some HW couture , mir
Alpha_Omega
^ I have to disagree. I think Hendo can edge out a decision but I think Nate can finish Silva. Takase proved a good wrestler with black belt level BJJ is the formula for beating Anderson. Nate Marquardt is that aand better than Takase. mmapsycho
In an interview with silva I read he said he's only considering retirement and he thought he could fight 3 or 4 more years. He also acknowledged no one stays undefeated and that if he fights that much longer he will get beat.

Takase proved a good wrestler with black belt level BJJ is the formula for beating Anderson. Nate Marquardt is that aand better than Takase. Yeah they both executed that in their last fights against Silva:rolleyes: Neither one of these guys will beat this dude, Marquardt looked bad against Silva and Hendo looked better but Silva is just that much better then both and I think he's a lot bigger and faster then Hendo. I would love nothing more then to see Hendo KO Silva but it ain't gonna happen. Back to the retirement thing.. I already stated in an earlier post in this thread that the retirement is just something Silva will use as a bargaining chip to garner more money from UFC. He is a big draw and UFC makes plenty of money from the PAY-PER-VIEW's from his fights. He ain't going anywhere mark my words..
BioHazard8021
Hendo would beat Nate I think so too, but it is debatable. I could be mistake, but i am PRETTY sure, that Henderson vs Silva has already been announced. It happened before the Marquardt-Maia fight. Maybe not officially signed, but at least decided by the UFC admins. So by that logic, they could go back on that and make Hendo fight Nate. But thats just kinda mean, to go back on your word like that. "Ok Hendo, you're fighting Anderson next. Get ready." *watched Nate knock out Maia* "Actually, you'll fight that guy next. Yeah, do that." And Cung Le and Frank Shamrock should come back to the 185lb division in the UFC. I know Frank lost to Cung last year, and his record isnt the greatest, but he is still arguably one of the all time greats. Randy's record isnt that great either at 16-10. If fans think "This is gonna be one of Anderson's last fights ever, i have to buy this ppv event" then the UFC will get more profits. Clever thinking AngryAgent. Kudos. Psyliciben
I think AS should defend his MW belt or relinquish the title. EIther he is gonna fight mega fights or I guess the term for the UFC would be super fight or stay a middle weight. Also if he is going to be fighting other weight classes he needs to fight for the title rather than discrediting other weight classes. I do not want to see a Randy Silva bout. I would rather watch Randy retire.
