tapout777
So after the fight Randy Couture said that he wants to have interesting fights. If you could pick some interesting fights for him who whould you put in there at heavy and light heavyweight and why. I wouldn't mind to see (Couture vs. Coleman) It would be a hall of fame fight and all of the history that they went through. I think that would make an interesting fight. That does seem interesting enough! I just think the only thing keeping Randy out of retirement is the prospect of fighting Fedor after his Strikeforce contract is up. At this point that is the only fight left for Randy as far as I am concerned! But in the meantime I can see him fighting , and beating, most any of the smaller sized Hw's. BrockObama
I think Couture vs. Mir would be a good fight. N0g's probably got better BJJ but Couture should just fight anyone he hasn't fought before just in the name of making things interesting.

srams1
Couture needs to go back to LHW. He is a great fighter, and has a ton of heart. I just think that the HW division is too big for him. He is just getting out sized, and when someone the size of Brock hits you, its over for a smaller HW like Couture.
Blackbird
I agree on the LHW, Nog looked good in that fight.I wasn't impressed with him against Mir.Nog needs a couple more wins before the title shot.Couture would be a good fight for say Bader, both love to wrestle, so it'd be good i think.Assuming Bader beats Schaefer. TigerChamp
randy wouldnt have that much trouble losing 15 more pounds coming into the fight for a LHW match against anderson silva. call me crazy but that would be interesting. i know i would watch it. How dare you wish that on randy couture! jk But Anderson would knock his head off and that would'nt be good for him.

Coleman is still a 1 trick pony(wrestling), and Randy is better with Age as too Coleman. I would like to see Randy Couture vs Frank MIr, that would be interesting. this too, I remember after Tito got his **** kicked by Machida he said he wouldn't mine having a rematch with Randy. I would like to see Randy spank Tito 1 more time. And its true the only thing keeping Randy from retiring is Fedor. He's hoping that Fedor would come to UFC after his Strikeforce/M-1 contract is up. But I doubt that will ever happen. Randy should've just fought Nog, leave and fight Fedor outside UFC while he is still Relevant. Anymore year(s) passed by is more factor for Randy to worry about when it comes to Fighting Fedor.

And are you kidding? 15lbs is nothing to an athlete of Randy's caliber. Its actually easy. All he needs to is go into a sauna and let the water-weight drop out of him. Everyman Fat or Skinny can lose 15lbs to 20lbs in a sauna. Even more for bigger guys(i mean fatter). And if Bader can get passed Eric Shaefer then he doesn't deserve to be there. And Bader is a Heavyweight, why in the hell is fighting at 205lbs anyway. He's got the size of a Heavyweight.
Manho
Coleman's career is going downhill. I don't think a match with this guy will be "interesting". Randy will just chew him up and spit him out.

Ares9139
Couture vs a bear would be pretty interesting. But I would like to see him against Hendo if he drops back down to 205. At heavyweight I agree Mir would be a great fight. I did want to see him fight Fedor, but after Nogueira I can just see Couture getting beaten up by Fedor. Jade7
At HW I would like to see Randy fight Mir. Unless he's trying to work his way back for a title shot, I'm not that interested in many other HW fight possibilities for him. A fight with Cro Cop would be another meeting of legends that could be good, but honestly the possibility of Randy eating one of Cro Cop's kicks makes me not want to see it as much. At LHW I think there are some interesting matchups available. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take on Anderson Silva; again it's the sort of legendary matchup that could be exciting for the fans. I'd expect Anderson to win, but I think someone with a great wrestling base like Randy has the best chance of beating Anderson, so who knows? I'd also like to see him take on Franklin. If Randy can get a couple of wins over big names at 205, maybe he could even work his way into title contention, you never know with him. Say, if he beats Coleman for a warmup, then Franklin and then Evans. With six fights on his new contract, it will be interesting to see what happens. joshiec1203
I'd like to see him back to LHW and stick around long enough to get a title shot, regardless of opponents. If he is still physically able to be that tough against the HW division, than I don't see anyone in LHW that he couldn't hang in there with and have a shot at beating, including Silva. I think Silva would win, especially if Randy gets over aggressive, but with the right game plan I can definitely see Randy at least bringing it to a decision. Plus Silva would be pumped about this fight. Randy has another possible title run left in him if he sticks to LHW. As far as the HW division goes, if he wanted to stick around at that weight, I'd like to see him fight Cro Cop. Call me crazy, but I wouldn't really be that excited about a Couture/Mir fight. ust doesn't really do it for me. But I'm not a big Mir fan... I much prefer the unlimited figths he could have over the next year at LHW. (Machida, Rampage, Tito, and in a year or so maybe Bader or Thiago Silva once they get some extra quality wins and enter Randy's level)
