UFC_BOXER
This is crap!!! This is the 2nd PPV in a row where Gonzaga was scratched from our PPV viewing. Fans pay between 45 and 55 bucks for these PPV'S we deserve to see all the fuggin fights!!!!!! Some people MAY get a group of people together to buy the PPV'S together, but a lot of us shell out the money by ourselves. There have been plently of PPV's where the floor was covered with blood and yet I dont ever recall seeing when all that blood was spilled...because the fight were never aired.I am not cryinmg for more blood, but its proof that UFC is not showing us some entertaining fights. If a top contender like Gonzaga won by a groin kick, the fans should have been able to see it!! I really wish UFC would stop ripping us off...not showing us all the fights is complete bull ****!! CaptainSuperman
Well really, they list on here all the fights you'll see. You pay for the main card, and if any prelims are aired, thats considered a bonus. It might show up as UFC 102 when you get billed for it, but you're really not paying for the whole card that day. UFC_BOXER
I am shocked by these repsonses. I guess I am just broke compared to you guys. That's like saying maybe people who buy a UFC ppv can only see the first 2 rounds of the main event. You know what people at football games get? They get to watch cheerleaders, half time shows, contests etc. that's the full experience not the end of the game. That was a weak comparison. Alpha_Omega
^ I understand that, believe me. I probably won't be able to afford to go the one here in LA at 104 but I see the Dana's point when he says the prelims are for the people who forked out the extra cash for the seats. It happens all the time in sporting events it's just better live.
CaptainSuperman
Again, you only pay to the main card, anything else is an extra. This is really my only point But I see what others are saying as well. Look at it like this, you spend $50 at most to stay in your own home, while others spend $500 to travel to the event. Your also in the comfort of your own home, while others may not like being in a big crowd. But then again, other might.

gary68
I paid the $50 also, yet i don't feel quite so ripped off.I can understand how 1 could feel ripped off though. We are told what fight are on the main card before we make the purchase. We are not told which of the prelims we will not see.As mentioned before thats to put people in the seats, and also, for the ufc vault gonzaga n chris's fight will deffinately get the most buys. Most of the fights were ood.Coture -Nog was a classic.Leben's loss was a great surprise fight.Nates fight was a right off.It was not an great performance at all.Damian Mia seemed to forget distance and just throw a lazy low kick, got caught and looked perma stunned down there. To see Hermans fight was 1 i didn't think we would get(not sure if it was on the main card or not, dont think so).I say it was a good card with some amazing endings. Atreu
I'm sure everybody in here would like to see all the prelims but saying that you got ripped of is just silly. And why is it every single PPV I have to explain this to someone again?!?!?!?! When you purchase the UFC PPV, you are not paying to see every fight, you are paying to see the main card. A UFC event runs almost 6 hours in length. The UFC has only 3 hours of air time. And NO, they can't just purchase more because it would cost millions and millions of dollars, and the UFC dosn't provide the airtime, the PPV provider does. You at home pay $50 to watch the main card, if you are lucky as you were on Saturday, you got to see, I believe 3 or 4 undercard fights because a few fights ended early. You see, the UFC even tells you that you will possibly not get to see every fight, on this very web page, under "Events" is a list of every fight on a card. Beside that fight it may also say "May Not Be Broadcast", meaning just what it says... If they have have time, they will show the fights, if not, oh well.... The fine people sitting at the arena, paying any where from $50 - $600... those people pay to watch every fight. Now for the first time, next month before UFC 103, Spike TV will be airing 1 hour of prelims right before the start of UFC 103. So, if a few fights end early, there is a chance that you will get to see most of the fights on that card, and that card is stacked!!

You know whats gonna be on the card and you know whats gonna be in the prelims before you see it. (check event listing) If the main card isn't good enough to warrant your money then don't spend it. ChrisCrowing
UFC 102 was money well spent, an instant classic with Nog-Couture, some quality knockouts, an even match won with a comeback submission and a nasty looking knee injury. Awesome. yes, I did want to see Gozanga's fight, and I did wonder where all that blood had come from but it was a prelim and as such, I won't cry like a girl that I didn't see it. Also, unaired prelims are all on UFC Vault, so what's your issue? Thus far, UFC is proving to be considerably cheaper for me to follow than the pro-wrestling I used to watch and the football (soccer) I continue to follow. Yah its a full weeks pay to me , but as a fight fan that pre dates MMA , Imma have to say that with a lil research you would realize that considering what most Boxing Promotion tickets cost throughout the mid 90s to now was about 2 to 3 grand or more for nosebleed seats on marquis fights , we are getting away with murder for what the UFC charges. UFC_BOXER
The whole arguement about going to all PPV is crap, because that is not possible. I spent over 500 bucks last year to go to the Atlanta PPV Chuck/Rashad and that was prob the worst card in recent memory but I went anyway because UFC never comes to or near the Carolinas very often. I had decent lower mid level seats but due to the size of the arena I wish I brought binoculars because it was still kind of hard to see when the fighters went to the matt and I spent the majority of the event watching the big screen. If you want seats down below you will easily pay over a grand for two seats. I love UFC but not enough to pay 800 bucks or more to be down near the ring with all the celebs etc... stubird
I am getting fed up with all the complaining about this. After every event there seems to be somebody who complains about not getting to see the prelims. And after every event it is the same responses. You would think that after 100 + events people would be used to this, if you would like to ee the prelims as previously stated go to the UFC vault. It is made quite clear that this fight may not be broadcast when the fightcard is announced. I appreciate you pay $50 but after all the events that have taken place do we really need to hear it all again? if you feel ripped off don't buy the next PPV it is as simple as that.
