General_Anesthetic
That poor guy Chris Tuchscherer got the shaft bigtime on Saturday. I did not expect him to win but he got a horrible welcome to the UFC. I have seen lots of nut-strikes but that kick Gonzaga delivered to Chris' sack was brutal! IMO, Tuchscherer should not have continued. I know it was his UFC debut & he didn't want to look like a wimp or whatever but he was already at a disadvantage before taking that low kick. After 'recovering' he was clearly not the same & only going on pure willpower & pride. He should have said 'no mas', taken a NC, & come back to fight another day. Now we may never see him again & I think that's a shame. Thoughts..?
cripplerfan1988
He will definately get another opportunity in the UFC as Dana loves fighters who show toughness and don't give up. He was being sick into a bucket and then still went in there with Gonzaga, and the fans appreciated just how tough he is. We will see Chris again but I agree with you, he was in over his head even before the fight begun
cripplerfan1988
And had he gave up and declared 'No mas' like a fat, yellow haired Duran then I'm sure he would have won a DQ. I'm not 100% certain on that but I think that is the case.
craigdcan1406050570
I think it would have been a No Contest as it was accidental and no warnings had been provided.
