gavyg03
Shane Carwin talks about his upcoming title bout against current champion [and probably most hated man in UFC history] Brock Lesnar. Pretty interesting stuff and I can't believe Carwin has multiple degrees and works full-time... then does MMA. http://www.fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/Shane-Carwin-I-was-definitely-a-bully-hater-and-really-didnt-like-bullies.html
fighterangel92
He'll probably be toasting with us with a few Bud Lights.... but he will also be defeated, Lesnar is like an unstoppable & unbeatable machine! And that's not a good thing.... gavyg03
Carwin can keep it on his feet, he really can. that said, he'll knock Brock out.
crazybrazilian1
if he can keep it on the feet then he has a good chance of winning... but who knows?? no one expect Lesnar to drop couture when they fought, so we might be in for a surprise!! Balla5077
Brock will probably win in the third via tko when Carwin starts to gas.
Amateur
Brock will probably win in the third via tko when Carwin starts to gas. Brock doesn't own a gas tank either - and Carwin hasn't gone past first round. We'll see about that.

armbarvictim
Neither of these guys should be classified as human in nature....Both of em are right out of a comic book I swear to god...... Carwin by KO.
GoToGuy
Standing up would be the most exciting for sure. If it goes to the ground Carwin is dead. I'd like to see atleast some slugging first. This will be a good opportunity to see if Brock has a good chin against a guy his size who probably packs a wollop in his punches. Alpha_Omega
I still don't see how Brock is "unstoppable" after 5 fights. Enlighten me?
GoToGuy
I agree. Right now Brock is not unstoppable. I will say however, that given enough time and training he just might be. Only time will tell.
ChrisCrowing
Carwin presents a different challenge to Mir and Couture, but I do think Brock will be a little too much. I reckon Brock has more gas and is better on the ground than Carwin, so if he avoids the KO punch, he'll win via TKO or decision. However, Carwin just needs a good performance to capitalize on his main event shot - if he goes down in glorious fashion, it'll be a starmaker and the rematch a year or so down the line will be huge. Andys562
We all know Brock has nice cardio. But Carwin's cardio hasn't been tested. Just because he thinks it won't go the distance doesn't mean he shouldn't prepare for it. Carwin is too large and powerful to hold down. We won't be seeing another UFC 100, guys. Lesnar has amazing wrestling, but Carwin is the only guy to match up with him in terms of size and wrestling skill. Carwin has decent stand-up, but Lesnar has terrible stand-up. But I know their both working really hard. Carwin might take this one home.
sls
I think Carwin could get up if Brock took him down. Carwin has respectable wrestling and a good submission game as well (5 wins by submission). Carwin will keep it on the feet and KO Lesner in the 1st. gavyg03
Carwin could easily get up if Brock had him down. Not many heavyweights could but he easily can imo.
UCFMRE
The way I figure it, their wrestling is pretty even as they were both college wrestling champions. The stand-up advantage has to go to Carwin. Lesnar has never knocked anyone out with one punch but we have seen Carwin do it multiple times. I think Carwin probably has a slight BJJ advantage as well. For those reasons, I see Carwin winning this fight, probably by knockout.
kman747
It's a really close fight. Brock has size and muscles but Carwine has expierience and power to go with it. I think Cariwne will win by a KO or TKO in the second round.
UFC_BOXER
Will be no different from past fights, Brock will continue to keep kicking **** and taking names!
Rampageisabeast
Will be no different from past fights' date=' Brock will continue to keep kicking **** and taking names![/quote'] +1. I just don't want to hear all of this talk up. This happened with Couture and Mir. Lesnar by GNP stoppage round 3.
Balla5077
I know a lot of people don't like Lesnar because of what he did at 100 but if he keeps on winning he will continue to make the UFC mainstream. He has a big name and big names bring big crowds. So I hope he wins so one day he can maybe have a showdown with Fedor.
joshdfs
Randy has already shown that Brock's much praised wrestling technique isn't even that great, He couldn't keep Randy down. Carwin is almost as big, may be just as strong, has similar wrestling and superior striking. Plus I like the implied shot at Lesnar's post UFC 100 tantrum by talking up the Bud Light angle, shows he is smarter too, he does have a mechanical engineering degree which is no small feat! did Lesnar even graduate? I gotta go Carwin by KO
gary68
Look forward to this fight for 1 reason.I want to see how long Shane will survive, and judging that i will have an idea if he is gonna threaten 1 day for the belt.I dont think he is a serious threat right now.He is a good fighter with great size. Some guys just cant seem to beat the big man,If this fight gets out of rd.1 i would be surprised.I see Brock try to bum rush em and gnp on the ground. If shane works distance and counters a smart fight,he could catch Brock.Frank Mir got respect foe his ground game, from Brock.Don't see him respecting Shane's ground game and trying to get it there as quick as possible.I am not a Brock fan by no means and would love to see him get his but kicked!!!Just don't see it happening in this fight.I love to see the fights when someone is gettn his **** kicked the whole time and then lands that 1 big blow.Thats Shane's best bet and hope.
