Mugsyboy
For UFC only I might agree Pridewars, although would likely move Alves to 5 and Koscheck to 6. Also I would drop Serra altogether in favour of Lytle at number 10.

pridewars
yeah im a huge chris lytle fan...hes an exciting fighter and never gives up....but honestly he never wins the big match and serra is a former champ (even though i hate matt serra) and i cant drop thiago alves because i think he would own everyone else in the division except fitch. I would love to see a fitch vs thiago alves rematch.

pridewars
i cant have hughes that high...he is way past his prime and i think alot of the young guys could take it to hughes. I have serra so low because his only big win was gsp...thats it
Tropic_Thunder
I think Koscheck and Parisyan need to fall off this list. Though i can't argue too much with your list. Swick is a monster at this weight class and I can;t wait to see if he can test the great one that is GSP. Dong Hyung Kim should round out the list around 9 or 10 for his win against Matt Brown.I also felt he was robbed when he fought Karo Parisyan. He clearely won 2 of three rounds, and that performance was even more impressive when it was later learned the Karo tested positive for performance enhancing drugs and the win for karo was changed to a no contest. It’s a bit premature to put Paolo Thiago on the list after one big knockout of Koscheck and a resilient yet one sided beating against Fitch. (fitch beats down everyone like that, except gsp) Suitable Replacements could be Ben Saunders, Brock Larson, carlos conduit Up and comers sure to make the list eventualy Efrain Escudaro, Nick Osipzak, James Wilkes
pridewars
i dont see how you could take koscheck off the list? and maybe take off paolo and parisyan for larson and carlos condit but thats about it. I dont like Dong hyung Kim

Tropic_Thunder
how could you have Dong Kim on that list i mean all his matches are boring as **** and hasnt beat anyone big or fought anyone unlike koscheck. I'm not trying to hate on Koscheck who has fought some great guys, he just hasn't really beaten any of the good ones, his best wins are against Lytle (a pure striker) Pure strikers almost always get beat by pure wrestlers, Though Koscheck has greatly improved his striking, Dustin Haslett (a fine win on his resume), and an undersized Diego Sanchez, Sanchez truly does belong at 155, and to Sanchez credit he did beat him on the show despite being undersized. Kim might not have the long list of opponents like gsp and Alves on his resume that Koscheck does (both dominating losses) but he has a well rounded game. People called Lyota Machida boring for a long while too, I am probably being too hard on Parisyan, but I am a hater when it comes to cheaters. BJ Penn (round 1 UFC 58) 3. Matt Serra (round 1 UFC 69) Just because he won unanimously doesnt mean he won every round. Nog won UD, and one judge gave a 29-28. He lost a round according to one judge. As for the Kos fight, I cant remember the numbers, but I think Kos did win a round.
pridewars
i watched that fight many of times and yes koscheck did win a round 29-28 29-28 30-27. I would like to see a rematch between these two since that was 2 years ago and both fighters have grown...but koscheck needs to put together a couple of wins first. The scoring was 29-28 / 29-28 / 30-27. But what do they know, GSP controlled the first 3 minutes of round one and Koscheck didn't do any damage the last 2 minutes. My opinion of course based on watching that fight.
