well, pacquiao has proven to beat some fighters bigger than him so i'm going for pacquiao with this one. pacquiao is one of the fastest hands i've seen in boxing and has some crazy knockout power, like what he did with ricky hatton. if pacquiao wins,i'm not sure if there will be a mayweather pacquiao bout.mosley is begging both fighters to fight him,but he's a lot bigger,i suggest that he puts his **** in mma together with bernard "big mouth" hopkins.

I agree with your prediction of pacquiao. I enjoy the amount of stamina and power he can bring to a fight. His hand speed is unquestionably one of the best around right now. Like you said the size wont matter it should be a good ko fight.

Greetings from the Philippines :) .. The on-line bookmakers & casinos have installed Pacquiao as a relatively heavy favorite because Cotto is very easy to hit & offers only medium power . Don't buy into the weight thing, they made a big deal about Hatton & Oscar being too big for Pac & we know how those fights ended .

PBF hand-picks his opponents, .. not sure if he wants Manny, but Floyd may be feeling ****y after picking apart Dinomita . I would guess, if Pac wins early -NO, if Cotto can hang for 8-10 rounds -Maybe .

after pacman koed cotto in rnd6, i think mosley is his next opponet and im sure he will also koed it. dirty mayweather is the real test for him and if he beat that dirty guy he will become the greatest boxer of all time. in ufc do u think the truth can upset the natural? i think he can.

pac man by a mile. cotto is clean and crisp' date=' i like his style, however pacman has all the confidence in the world and since his fight with david diaz has been showing he knows every trick in the book.[/quote']

...& Mr. Roach knows every trick in the book, .. the rumor here in the Philippines is "early super-vicious attack" .. ;) ... probably to intimidate PBF

.. if Floyd ducks Pac, it will follow him to his grave !

Pac is already in his Floyd's head. Pac DESTROYED Hatton, but Hatton almost knocked Floyd down in the 2nd (floyd turned his back and hung over the ropes and the ref stepped in to stop Hatton from finishing) after that Floyd had to outlast Hatton.

If Floyd ducks Pacquiao then then boxing world should erase his name from the record. **I've waited tooooo long to see this fight, I'll kill Floyd.

Pacman is all hype, the last two fights he had were very disappointing. He fought a old Oscar, and then proceeded to KO a boxer that doesn't know how to properly defend himself. He can properly test himself against a great fighter from P.R Cotto, and I beat 100$ Pacman is gonna get KO.

Cotto fights are legendary especially his last fight against clottery. He's really 35-0!

Solid analysis Berserker. If Cotto can last 8-10 rounds, Floyd might bite on fighting Manny, but if Manny KOs him in lightning time, Floyd will run.

I hate Floyd Mayweather. He's SUCH a big mouth. It pains me, because in all honesty, Floyd Mayweather possesses quite possibly, the best boxing skills ever seen P4P. I want to love the guy, but he's such an idiot. He's a master technician and dismantles everyone. Personally, the only fighter who could beat Floyd, imo, is Manny, and I hope to see it happen in the near future.

Pacman is all hype? Are you nuts guy? He's easily the second best P4P boxer in the world, behind Floyd. Pacman all hype. Wow, quite possibly the worst thing ever posted on UFC.com - and it doesn't even have to do with the UFC.

I think this could be a 12 round fight or maybe a late stoppage

I think Cotto will be a much better challenge to Manny than Hatton was. Cotto is not to be overlooked, that's for sure. It wouldn't shock me to see him beat Manny either, but I'm sure Pacman will dispose of him rather easily.

You obviously aren't riding the Pacman's bandwagon, you're in a total different category one might call it Pacman's nuts hugger because you're all over his nuts. I watched 24/7 part 2 and pacman fought horrible in his sparring match. Pacman won't defeat Cotto

Actually I'm a minimal Pacman fan. By no means a ****. I clearly indicated that a Cotto win would not surprise me.

Cotto is the big underdog even though he is the bigger fighter for a good reason & its his record :

Clottey (12 rd SD)

Jennings (5 rds w/ who)

Margarito (TKO loss)

Gomez (5 rds w/ who)

Mosely (12 rds w/ 38 yr old)

Judah (11 rds w/ a joke)

Urkal (11 rds w/ who)

Quintana (5 rds decent win)

Malinaggi (12 rds w/ a powderpuff)

meanwhile Pacquiao is fighting Hatton, Oscar, Diaz, Marquez, Barrera, Solis, Morales, Larios ... put your pesos on Andre Ward @ +250 vs Kessler ...

i hope pacmans training is enough.he trained in the philippines with roach for his upcoming fight.during his training 2 typhoons hit the philippines in which his traing was affected because of the disaster that the storm brought in the philippines.

... very true, Snuff lived through it ... Pacquiao is in LA now, he looked a little-sluggish but you can attribute that to jet-lag (13 hour time difference) , he'll be ok .

Doubting Pacman is like doubting GSP or Spider. There are some fools that do it but they are always wrong. Pacquiao is faster stronger tougher smarter meaner hungrier than Cotto. It's a no brainer.

I'm not knocking Cotto either Pacman is just miles ahead of anyone else.

I can't beleive you stated before that Hatton was close to stopping Mayweather,he slightly landed a jab and caught Mayweather off balance which then made him stumble backwards.Mayweather would totally outclass and outbox Pac,for sure mayweather is the P4P

2009 Pacquiao Wildcard workout :

Six-time world champion pound-for-pound king Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao hits the mitts with trainer Freddie Roach during a huge media day at the jam-packed, standing room at the Wildcard Boxing Club in Hollywood on Wednesday. Pacquiao is in town preparing for his upcoming ?FIREPOWER? world welterweight championship fight against three-time world champion and the pride of Puerto Rico Miguel Cotto. ?I consider myself a student of boxing,? Pacman said, ?a philosopher so to speak, and my philosophy is to keep learning.?

MANNY PACQUIAO QUOTES :

PREPARATION?

?If you have a math test on Tuesday, you are not going to do very well if you study science on Monday. You have to study for math. It?s the same thing in boxing. You can?t just go to the gym and work out every day and hit bags. That?s not enough. You need to study tapes of your opponent. You need to design and develop different game plans for you oppoenent. You just need to be prepared.?

ON POLITICS?

?One of the reasons I am running for office is not just to win, it is to bring attention to issues in the area where I live. And my celebrity as a candidate helps bring attention to those issues that need attention. I speak for those who can?t. Maybe my holding office will help bring more bisiness to the region where I live, which has been neglected.?

ON TRAINER FREDDIE ROACH?

?Freddie has been a father to me, a brother to me and an all-time my best friend. I know he always has my best interest at heart. And he has always been there for me.?

WHAT THIS FIGHT MEANS HISTORICALLY?

?This fight is about history. It?s exciting to think I can the first person to win 7 world titles in 7 different weight divisions. What makes it even more special is that it would be a Filipino to do it.?

ON COTTO?

I look at Cotto as my toughest fight. I?m not worried about moving up in weight. I wasn?t worried when I accepted the fight with Oscar De La Hoya and I wasn?t worried when I accepted this fight with Cotto. Will I knock him out? My lips are sealed? (zippering his lips closed with his fingers).
