rampage's hassle

i dont understand why everyones jumping on rampages back because of his coaching techniques... or lack of, on tuf. firstly hes not a coach and secondly the performance of all his fighters would piss anyone off in his position. big abe was outclassed, wes shivers was gassed out and even still if he really wanted to win the contract he would of stepped up a gear because mcsweeney was right infront of him begging to be floored, roy nelson sat on kimbo, demico was winnin and tapped at a weak submission, wes sims was awful and for a ufc vet should of done better, zac jensen shouldnt even be on the show and the junk fight should of gone to a third. so what if he doesnt get in the ring to check theres doctors and **** there to do it it shows his passion and how much he hates to lose and how pissed he is that all the fighters he chose have either crumbled into a heap and didnt show up. he was there every day in the gym with his fighters and they just didnt deliver. evans just jumped on the fact that rampage doesnt check on hs fghters and i rekon the ufc glorified it to make him look worse and that he didnt care. he obviously did purely for how pissed he was after each fight. in conclusion to this essay his fighters ket him down not the other way round. no heart, no win. i just hope big marcus bangs out wessel.

I hope Marcus wins aswell, but i do think that rampage and his fellow coaches, have to be blamed partly for their teams lack of success. The fights they picked were not to smart, and their game plans are obviously not working. Not to mention, rampage picking kimbo with the first pick was not that smart, kinda set himself up for failure with that one

I just hope Rampage decides to come back to the UFC so I can see rashad get KTFO again he's such a D!*k he's one of the only fighters I watch just hoping to see him get destroyed.

As far as the coaching I have no idea I stopped watching TUF years ago but I Know Rampage has always said he's no coach

Like Ramprage said' date=' its Ultimate Fighter not Ultimate Coach and hes right[/quote']

Def Agree +1 for you.

And Ultimate is harldy a good term for season 10, This one should be known as pisspoor fighter.

Cant believe the weak **** individual who wins this gets a 6 figure contract with the UFC. I blame Greg Jackson for Rampage's team losing so hard.

TUF is filmed over a period of about 6 weeks. Not even the best coach on the planet can turn these guys into black belts in 6 weeks. Essentially, the coaching aspect is a little bit over-emphasized.

Rampage did make a few key mistakes though IMO.

1) His fighter evaluations were not taken very seriously.

2) He had control in the first two fights and he picked two bad fights for his team:

Abe Wagner to fight Jon Madsen. (He picked a guy with no ground game to fight a take-down specialist.)

Wes Schivers vs. James McSweeny (He picked a very-strong GREEN fighter to fight a very-experienced kickboxer with over 100 fights under his belt.)

Essentially he handed the first two fights to Rashad. And, by not picking Kimbo to fight a weaker Team Rashad fighter, he left the option for Evans to pick Nelson vs. Slice. Ooops.

Compound all of this with the Karma of him quitting the UFC for the movies. Quitting his fight with Evans in Memphis. And quitting before the TUF 10 is even fully broadcasted. You start to see where all the Rampage hating is coming from.

That and he is constantly calling his own team quitters, and leaving fighters who lose in the ring in shambles.

At least he can beat the hell out of a paper thin door.

Rashad did a better job coaching you can't deny it.

I like Rampage but he has been slipping alot recently. His decisions throughout the show have been all personal. Most of the time he is in the corner he is saying "Score points" which doesn't really help much if the person has already lost most of the round. His attitude toward some of the people on the show is nothing less of childish(Schoonover). Rampage's status as a fighter, is high you can't say he doesn't know how to entertain and fight cause he does. Rampage on the other hand has let down alot of people because he showed everyone that he doesn't mind abandoning his MMA fans to go and play celebrity. Also technically he did Quit against Rashad by leaving.
