I am preparing for an all-out war on February 21 in Sydney. My opponent Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is an incredible boxer, incredible with jiu-jitsu, so I can't really take the fight anywhere and expect it to be easy. I expect a war the whole time.

I have been training with a lot more guys who specialise in jiu-jitsu to get ready for Nogueira, but other than that my training regime has been the same as usual - between two and three sessions a day.

Well the way I see it is training in jujitsu for a year or less is NOTHING against an artist like Big Nog. I bet you that Cain has only been training in jujitsu defense. If he is going to be preoccupied with defence anytime Big nog makes a move. I wouldnt be suprised if Cain tries to keep the fight standing. If he does start getting takedowns watch for Nog with the sub of the night.

I think many underestimate Couture's wrestling far too much! Nog did not have a hard time with Couture's wrestling ability and it's my prediction he won't have a hard time with Cain's either. If Cain can't wrestle he has no chance to win this fight. My prediction is Cain looses in convincing fashion to Nog.

Couture is a very good wrestler, I just feel like Cain is a better wrestler, so we will see.

DAMN HOMIE, this will be a great fight i obviously have a huge respect and admiration for BIG NOG who is one of the greatest fighters of all times to me, but i also like Cain's style he has a huge heart and a great determination, to me is a win/won situation because they are great fighters and it will be an epic fight. good luck to both of them

remember what brock did to mir?neutralized his BJJ with defensive tactics then dominated with sheer power...this will be a huge test for cain, this will show everyone if he has that lvl of power to do what brock did to mir...on paper nog has this easily,i have a feeling he'll try a stand-up approach to nog...ill be picking nog for the win(submission)

I pick Nog. Then Cain will go to the LHW division. Now Velasquez may win' date=' but he should still fight in a division where he could have a reasonable chance of winning a title. Cain vs. Brock isn't a very competitive match.[/quote']

Agreed. However, I don't think a Nog vs. Lesnar match would be competitive either. All the guys that come in weighing around 230 - 240 are just not big enough. Guys like JDS, Cain, Nog, Cro-Cop, or new comers like Kimbo, Shaub, etc. are all too small. They either need to go the Mir route and bulk up, or go the Diego route and starve themselves.

Cain has a chance for sure, its just not 50/50. While big nog is the most rounded fighter cain has faced, its a big nog that has been through MANY wars. While still a very dangerous fighter, its his boxing and bjj that will carry him till the end. In my eyes cain's biggest assets are his cardio and wrestling, two of the best tools to win this fight.Cain will not be thinking submissions, thats a given. His wrestling will able him to take the fight to the ground and ground n pound a tired nog,but a tired nog is a dangerous nog.I could see cain winning a 3 rd. war. Then again i could see big nog submitting cain in any rd.Very interesting fight to say the least.

When you have the skillset, the heart and chin that Nog has you don't need size. He is better lighter as he was in 102 and Pride Days. I really doubt someone can hang 5 rounds on the ground with Nog other than Fedor.

Cain needs to take to a decision, stand up all fight. I doubt he will TKO/KO Nog in 3 rounds, much less submit him. Be smart, keep distance and try to out-strike him.
