Jason David Frank (1-0) won his first MMA match tonight at Lonestar Beatdown in Houston, Texas. He defeated Jonathon Mack (1-1) in the first round by omoplata but it wasn't a walk in the park. They traded a few punches. JDF got rocked but recovers quickly. Mack started dancing in the middle of the ring. Mack gave Jason a huge shot and rocked him again but Mack did not attack. Mack took down Jason then Jason applies the Omoplata for the Win.

This was a heavyweight bout. Frank height 5'11 weighed in at 215 lbs and Mack height 5'8 weighed in at 230 lbs. Kudos for the win hope his next fight will be better.I think he should focus on the weight class he intended to be in which is middleweight or go to Light Heavyweight. So now he is 2-0 in Muay Thai competition and 1-0 in MMA competition.

For those of you who may not know who he is Jason Frank is best known for his TV acting role as Tommy Oliver in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993-1996), Power Rangers Zeo (1996) Power Rangers Turbo (1997) and Power Rangers Dino Thunder (2004). Also two feature films Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The movie (1995) and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997).

He was the Original Green Ranger then due to story line changes he became the White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, the first Red Turbo Ranger and after 7 years he reprised his role and became the Black Dino Ranger.

JDF is more than an actor. He really is a true martial artist. He started to train in Karate when he was 4, got his first black belt at age 12 and began to teach other children. He bought the school when he was 18. and auditioned for MMPR when he was 19.He now owns 4 karate schools. He has even created his own style of martial arts called Toso Kune Do which is a hybrid of different martial arts. He is now a 6th degree black belt in Karate he has also trained in Muay Thai with Master Toddy who has also trained Gina Carano, Tito Ortiz and others and he is learning brazilian jiu jitsu and wrestling.

Actually the official time given was 2:34 of round #1.

Actually, it was 1:28. I just watched the video and timed it to make sure we didn't have it wrong.

I believe he did something wrong for this guy to rock him twice. Jason is suposed to have better stand up but he will learn and improve. I think he should focus on the weight class he intended to be in which is middleweight or go to Light Heavyweight. the fight should be up on youtube soon. I know HDnet fights was filiming it. They are gonna show it on February 12th.

No he didn't. He's not ashamed of his past but he's not a dork either. His entrance music was "Game Over" By Lil' Flip. look on the first page of this thread. you will see a youtube link of the fight
