I don't know, but is this succeeding to get anyone else hyped up?

 

I mean for real, Couture vs Coleman is going to be a bloody match and I expect a stoppage; Marquardt vs. Sonnen--I just look forward to Marquardt knocking Sonnen's ego out. Thiago vs. Swick will be straight fireworks the entire time, and I think one of them are going to get dropped.

Haha, expect a stoppage? I expect to be falling asleep. The most lame main event in years for me.

 

Just personal opinion of course, I hope I'm wrong and hope they don't just hug and press each other into the cage for 15 mins which is what I fully expect they'll do. Again, dearly hope I'm wrong!

 

There are some potentialy good fights on this card though!

Dude very well put I feel the exact same way. I watched it also and the Countdowns always get me fired up!!!!! I hate how everyone thinks that Couture vs Coleman is gonna be a boring fight!! I think its gonna be a great fight and maybe even a CLASSIC FIGHT. Cant wait to see Nate vs Sonnen either Nate the Great is gonna put on a show!!!! and Thiago vs Swick is a sick match up gonna be a great fight and also Maia and Miller cant wait to see that beautiful BJJ from Maia and im even looking forward to the Serra vs Trigg fight because I wanna see Trigg get his *** kicked and even though I never really liked Serra he isnt that bad of a fighter. Im really pumped for this event and the MAIN EVENT IS GONNA SURPRISE EVERYBODY

Yeah I think we might see Couture get the KO or TKO mayb even a sub and if not than this could be a WAR!!!! Just watch the fight hasnt even happen yet so how do you know its gonna be boring???? You dont well just have to see and this card will be sick trust me if your a real fight fan your gonna want toi watch these fights. And this is the first time that two UFC HALL OF FAMERS that can actually still keep up with the younger generation are gonna fight its gonna be good

I'm real excited! I wish they'dbring back Royce Gracie and Kimo for an epic rematch! I also wish they'd bring back the old style UFC ring where the door flies open when it gets grappled against! Now that would be real exciting!

I don't really believe this will be a hugfest based on the fact that Couture is open to striking against somebody he can beat at it... He was afraid of Vera knocking his lights out, so he ground out a win instead... In this case, his standup is better than Coleman's, and Coleman doesn't have much of a gas tank.

Yeah I agree. I know will definitely see Couture throwin leather!!! He also said he would in a video I just watched. I think Coleman might want to get this to the ground because that would be his best chance to lay down some GnP or just get good positions on the ground. BUt from what iv seen Coleman doesnt have much cardio at all but you never know mayb he will come back with a better tank this fight and deliver a great fight. Hey can you tell me how to put writing under that line when you post a comment?

I think this is a poor card. 108 was criticised but I expected it to be good and I was pleased with it, but 109 looks ****. Coture vs Coleman would have been good about 10 years ago, but they will look like two old geezers fighting over the last toco in a supermarket.

I'm not big fans of Marquardt or Sonnen, I don't mind Swick though. I say this but I will be watching it, and it very may well prove me wrong, UFC has done so in the past.

This is exactly why this fight is going to put people to sleep.... Randy will want to strike, Coleman will want no part of it and hold on to a single leg for about 13 mins of the fight.... This will be the first card I will not even go to the bar to watch

I think that this will be a great card. Would I pay 40 dollars to watch it......not so much. This card lacks a fight that really jumps out at me. The main event has a really good concept (hof vs hof) but on paper it looks like it will end up as two old guys laying on eachother. Then again, I thought that Couture and Nog were going to be leaving the fight with walkers but that was one of my favorite fights of all time. Maia is one of my favs so I would like to see him gain some cred without a tap out victory. All this card needs is a title match and it would be worth going to watch it but otherwise......zzzzZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZZ

I'm looking forward to the nate/sonnen fight the most, and like some other guy said on here the couture/coleman fight is a good match just not main event material but they could change my mind if it becomes a war!

 

Will just have to wait and see
