Numerous people I know have gripped about how weak of a card this is. I think this card will turn out to be super exciting and a special surprise for anyone who purchases it. I however do agree with one complaint in general about this card. It?s the lack of impact this card will have on the UFC after the fights are finished. This fight card doesn?t shape anything we didn?t really already know about the UFC?s title picture. The only fight that carries any importance or real significance is Nate?s fight against Sonnen and we all know how that will end. Everyone knows Nate has been the number one contender to Silva?s belt ever since he sent Kampmann down to 170. I just hope the cards continue to look like 112,113 and the VS card. These fight cards do carry a heavier magnitude of importance as far as the title picture is concerned, at least IMO. Any ways I hope Randy comes away victorious and puts on a good show! But we might also see how good Couture has gotten and get another solid classic performance from him. Those 2 old guys helped build the mma world! Even if the fight is the worst of the last 10 years i wont care, im just happy to see 2 hall of famers go at it in the octagon! I remember watching Machida vs Shogun and Machida was like in the jungle at his home in brazil like breaking cocnuts with his hand and training on water and chillin with MONKEYS!!!!! haha just awesome. I really like the countdowns and after watching them I dont want anybody to lose because I like them all except for Chael Sonnen hahah looking forward too seein you go down!!!!!!!!!! but the one with Paulo Thiago in the Special Forces in Brazil was just awesome im really glad that they let the UFC get such a close look into that and part of his life, that was just tight!!!!! It should be named ufc 109 Battle of aged men. usually the major fighters age combined is in the 40s, in this case they both are pushing 50 and i personally cant say it will be fun to watch. Coture has skill but his fights are never fun to watch, and coleman is just plain old. Are you kidding me you dont have respect for two legends!!!!! and all the other fights on this card are good matchups!!!! Swick Vs Thiago is a great matchup even thought Thiago was suppose to fight KOS and Nate vs Sonnen, Demian Maia vs Dan Miller!!!!!! these are good matchups and so is Couture vs Coleman its gonna be a good fight man you dont sound like a true mma fan at all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
