I have been watching the video feeds for the up and coming ufc and if mark colman wins dana says hes back, The last man dana said was back is vetor belfort. now these two arent in the same class of fighter now, but think of the classic wrestler boxer or BJJ fights that can become of mark coleman winning this fight and receiving a contract exstenstion. the agesless wonders are making a comeback, what do you think is next for colman if he wins this fight? a title shot like vitor? or should he prove himself against a young gun like randy did?

He may be back and that would be incredible for the UFC. But I don't see it.

Randy has been successful because of his experience and skill. Coleman used his brute strength to GNP people and was the best at it. Now he will be fighting younger very well rounded guys and won't have his strength advantage. I don't see him making it very far. I love to watch him fight but his superior strength that he had in his younger days looks to be declining.

Hopefully he proves me wrong though.

Back from what? The retirement centre?

a) he will not win

B) if he does he will not string a second win unless he is given a weak opponent, so he will just be going back to where he apparently just came back from.

It is just Dana trying to hype a fight that is nearly unhypeable. Just watch it and enjoy two legends going at it, untill Coleman gasses just after the walk to the cage. It will be an enjoyable fight, but I have to say it is a weak main event as Coleman is not going anywhere in his division.

i understand that this is not the greatest fight ever but you put a guy who is fighting for his lively hood and guy who just loves to win in the cage it is bound to be good. niether fighter really will back away from the shots or punches. so it will be exciting, if you look at returning fighters after a long lay off like colman and tito anyone really there is alaays a gassing effecty on them buit the second fight that is always taken care of.

also look at the last person to really beat randy up, a large ground and pound monster. randy has neaver been submitted but grounded out has happened.

I could have swore Dana said that winner of Couture/Coleman gets a title shot. Not in the UFC preview but maybe at the most recent fight night. Remember, its not about the quality of your competition or how many wins you got, its about how promotable you are. Imagine Coleman/Machida. Or even better Coleman/Rua. Seriously though, I think Coleman might be the first fighter to have a stroke/heart attack in the octagon. Not even half joking. Coleman also lost like 5 out of his last 6 fights in the UFC. Who gets a title shot after that?
